Just when the season starts to get some momentum we are about to play our last game....
A much improved performance last week against Perth and the same effort and intensity should be expected for our final match for the year not too mention the more direct, longer kicking display in those periods when we hit the scoreborad.
Dont be afraid to play that style a bit more often who knows we might actually win a few more games along with entertaining the fans!
Riggs backs up for his 200th game in the Black & White strip this week whilst Steve Payne plays his WAFL game number 150 as well.
EF are always hard to beat down at Moss St and I expect the same again on Sunday.

I am still shaking my head in disbelief that this game has been scheduled for Sunday BH. I mean who is honestly going to want to watch this match on TV other than diehard Sharks and Swans supporters, most of whom will be at the ground anyway. Its 7th v 8th and has no impact on placings in the top 4. The WAFL is now totally dependent on TV schedules and is used as a convenient fill in when there is no other footy being played.

I understand what you are saying mike, but look on the bright side. With both teams being in a similar position, it could be a bit of light entertainment.
2x25= Seinor and Michael = 1xBrian Peake

You and me alike mate I have no idea why they would have fixtured that but this is the mob that fixtured last seasons wooden spooners against the Top 4 from last season in the first 4 games of this season...I believe it is some "learned" ex Subi bloke in charge of WAFL at the WAFC so no surprises in that sense or more like 'non'sense!

I will start getting worried if they reclassify the game from light entertainment to slapstick comedy 58shark :P

Great to see that Tony Notte is seriously considering going around again in 2021, due to the improvement that he has seen in the team this year and he wants to be part of a potential revival next year. Its a great shame that Tony was dropped after the 2nd Semi in 2010 and didn't get back into the team for the Grand Final. He would have richly deserved to be remembered as a Swans Premiership player alongside Matt Riggio.

Hopefully Tony does go around again next season Mike and is used predominately forward as well with the occasional stint down back to plug a hole if need be.
He is still a fine overhead mark and beautiful long kick of the footy, I dont think this shortened covid season did him any favours with the extra long pre season and no footy for 10 months.

Beasley. When we win on Saturday can you buy me a frozen coke instead of a steak? It’s going to be 26 and my old bones will need cooling down at Moss St.

Would be fantastic if he decides to play on next season.
Surely would be getting close to playing 250 games?
Has been good to see a player of his quality at the one club. From memeory, been at Swans for 11 yaers or thereabouts.

Tony actually started playing Colts at SD in 2006 (League debut was in Rd1 08) WAG.
