Dont particularly care tbh it is not high on the priority list...I am just glad we are having a footy season despite certain clubs who didnt want the season to go ahead at all!

My understanding is that the 12.40 start was because it was the TV Game.
That has since changed with the change of the AFL fixtures.

Which ever way you look at this game and whatever time it starts, all the ingredients are there for a very one-sided contest. Swans cannot seem to kick any more than 6 or 7 goals per game and Subiaco have had 2 weeks to stew over their unexpected loss to Claremont. It could get pretty ugly for our boys.

They have now won 10 in a row against us so I think there is a problem in the heads of the players that maybe Subiaco are invincible

Now back to the actual game now the starting time has been sorted just for STT.
Is George likely to come straight back in this week?
From the Ressies last week a few boys put their hand up for League selection including Doc, Riley, Bright, Italiano, Hughes, Bain, Bashemule, Deng, Wallrodt, Edwards and good to see Ireland back from injury. We need all of these guys and a few other lads putting pressure on for spots.

Sadly I dont think it has just been us in that category either Mike, I think TOO posted before Round 1 that Claremont hadnt beaten them for 6 years as well, in fact I dont think anyone has beaten them more than once or twice in the last 7 seasons going back to 2014!
We havent won at Claremont either for 8 seasons and it is about time the club started to do something about these dreadful records!

Ressies are playing early, league at 12.40 followed by the WAFLW game. Colts play Sunday, dont know the reason why, maybe to give the WAFLW a boost, not sure if it was the WAFC or Swans who instigated this format but doesn't really concern me. TV game is rightfully SF v Cl which is definitely the game of the round.

It concerns me a bit. The meaning and value of what I consider the elite level of my club and the competition being further eroded.

Good to see George back. The other significant 'in' is Doc Blakely who will shoulder most of the ruck work which frees up Corey Gault to play either back or forward. Subiaco have a few out apparently which may make things a bit more interesting but I wouldn't be getting too excited. The Lions still have quality all over the park and will be trying to make us pay for their loss to Claremont a few weeks back. Swans must try and find a way of scoring more goals in their games. 6 or 7 will not make us competitive against a team like Subiaco

This is a very beatable team tomorrow. Lacking the even 22 player spread of the previous decade. The boys have been doing a lot right and with George back we will be a huge chance to win.

I agree with you Marley. I think Swans are a good chance tomorrow.
