Cam Green bats through the whole day to be 185* at stumps and WA only 7 runs behind NSW/Australia A first innings with 3 wickets in hand.
Whiteman also made 114 and continues his recent decent form with the bat opening.
Agree with you Freeze on Turner, gee he has been a disappointment with the bat for too long now.
With Phillipe & M.Marsh hopefully available soon also Cartwright 12th man & Short in the touring squad you would think they would all be ahead of Turner for the next upcoming Shield matches?!

Cameron Green just out for 197, WA 73 ahead with one wicket left. Magnificent effort by Green who must be in line for a test spot purely as a batsmen at this stage.

It was always going to be a draw so WA did well to have the better of the game. Not too sure how much more of Cam Green we are going to see in the WA team.
Travis Head made a ton for SA today so that might delay Greens debut a bit but I have no doubt he will feature in the test team sometime this summer

Surely Green slips into number 6 over Wade mikeh....Wade isn't the future, he is gritty at best, nothing more. Green offers so much more, yeah he is young but has a far greater shot selection then Wade. For me
Warner, Burns, Labuschagne, Smith, Head and Green round out the top 6. In all honesty Burns isn't long term for me, not sure who is out there. Be great if Pucovski gets off to a flier like Green has....

Yeah good point Freezin, has Wade batted yet in the shield? Havent seen him playing for Tasmania so he must have gone back to Victoria perhaps?

Wade is still back at home with Tassie Mike he was just unavailable for the first 2 Shield games but is back for their next clash vs VIC starting next week.

Good fight back by Marsh, Inglis and Gannon....3/23 at one point, all out for 300 odd....Tassie's batting is paper thin, so would be disappointing if WA can't get a first innings lead....interesting to see Pucoski opening for Victoria, perhaps that is his way of getting an Aussie test gig...has a good technique from memory....another 100 from Labuschagne....great start from the fella.....wonder how long Bancroft is gonna be persisted with?....another leg side dismissal....

all together now: 'let us try our best to save the game'. Is not Harris from here?
I think that stand would nearly be a fc record: seem to recall that Holmes and Sutcliffe put on over 500 for Yorkshire in one innings. Holmes did not play much for Eng., because of Hobbs and Sutcliffe

Ps: 555 in 1932.
