Always good even contests these....WP travelling well so far.....EF doing enough but could do better. Be interested to see if BOB is back, Duffy and Dick need to lift, though sounds like both are playing through the midfield more than they did last year. Be interested to see if Snuffy 2 jnr can keep his goalkicking going....been a nice surprise so far. Anyone know where Adam Waight is this year...injured or moved on?

The defence seems pretty settled, good to see young Jupp get a debut, may he go on to be a 100 game plus player for the club....the mids keep doing the business, though WP have a great midfield with Hutchings, Black, Nelson etc....ruck wise EF keep competeting.....come on Sandi get that hammy sorted and play a few games for EF!!

Reserves need a win, won three, lost three.....need Perham to kick a few more than he has been....not too sure how WP reserves have been going?

Colts look good, will lose some quality with the state carnival soon, Rock is number 12 back on board yet with that shoulder injury?....

All three games will be close contests....like they always are v WP

see Duffy is out with a hammie (3- 4 weeks).....hopefully Peel with give the kid a run to keep him match fit during EF 2 games in the next month period...... ....Max out and BOB in perhaps?

Close contests you recon Freeze?? last year this time we got flogged by 100+ big ones at the Shark Park, I remember driving home in a daze with a friggen big headache,it was a bad day at the office....I was also stupid enough to drive up to Geraldton for that game that was last year?? we coped a nice touch up there also, go figure.

surely that was a one off mate.....looking back over recent times EF & WP contests have been pretty tight and going both ways.....this weekend will be no different I reckon.

Lets hope so Freeze, this is a big statement game for us mate. We fought like buggary v CL and I was really impressed with the boys, the SD game saw some selfish footy creep in much like last year but I will put that down to just being battle scarred from a few days before !

simpson was limping early in the last quarter but finished the game....so I presume he is out injured...big loss
sutcliffe in for dockers....great game last week...will miss him

simpson already started off on the wrong foot with his afl career

I knew that cust and we missed him for that ep game....I was talking about this week with not turning up to freo training and being forced to miss this game....he could be the difference again???
