Be interesting to see who the new Footy Department target. There's been 3 EF players delisted in H.Marsh, Paparone and Strnadica- be good to land them but realistically likely to only get 1. What else do we need?

No confirmed outs yet though it seems Jonathon Marsh is leaving. Hopefully we get some updates along the way though most recruiting announcements tend to be in the New Year

If the Marsh already there is on the way out you would think it decreases the likelihood of the other one coming back. Although he may also get on an AFL list elsewhere.

Hopefully the Ray Sorrell influence will persuade his grandson Harry to play for EF if he does come back to the WAFL. Jono suited up for 2 years, his partner is Victorian and wants to go back home it seems.

Billy seemed to say EF lack speed through the middle, so obviously that will be an area he will address......either Paparone or Strnadica up front with Loersch would be handy......but may not get either.....I guess post draft will be the only time we know about those 3.....not sure if Billy may try and persuade a few WP boys over....especially with Sanzone and Smoker at the club coaching as well....

One in would be Boekhorst I reckon.....and he has speed...

Seems Jono Marsh is off. I'd be surprised if we landed any of Harry Marsh, Paparone or Strnadica. I suspect 2 of those may get re-drafted. Paparone has been injured for a fair while. Worth the punt. Boekhorst is like a new recruit. I just hope we don't go for fringe players from other clubs unless they can impact our Senior side. No rumours of WP players jumping ship- which is interesting

any decent WP player needs to travel past Leederville to get to Shark Park..Subi will have first dibs on anyone decent..
you would need to pay well over the odds and provide some fuel cards to get anyone to travel to East Freo 4 times a week.

The issue may be whether they are prepared to follow Monaghan and other coaching staff, not whether they can get past Subi.
Players have often followed coaches so it will be interesting to see if that occurs here.

The only WP players EF should be looking at are those mature sort, 100 games plus who are ready to go and are leaders on / off the park.....think Billy has 1 or 2 in mind...think cashed up clubs like WCE reserves, EP and Perth with decent war chests will be knocking a few of those boys doors down....

Good to see all 3 boys on EF list for now....a few names have also gone I see....perhaps Doddy and Billy are starting the cull already....preseason can't be to far away I guess...

No biggies as yet Oooll... Omodei, Clements, J Wynne, Rajamanayan, Mirco, Fahey, Bailey, Howson from what I can see....might be the usual end of season list clear out....though Boekhorst isn't on the list either..so who knows mate...I see Bennett is back on the list as well.....talented midfielder.....think more will come out in the wash I guess...don't think Billy starts his role officially till November....

Great to see Craig Walkers appt as GNFL Regional Manager too.....tireless worker for the area...and could get a few more of those talented Gero boys down to EF...even after the recent debacle since Malaxos left.

I liked Bailey. Hopefully he’s just on the injury list- which is where Boekhorst likely is as well
