pretty sure Wiley has a three year contract TOO....don't think EF has the dosh to pay him out if they wanted to chop him.....most coaches are only as good as their cattle....look at Watters, McPhee, German etc....all done what at other clubs?...

Ageism personified.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Speaking of age Brett peake has been an outstanding servant. However you have to think that mayby green for the last two years or howson,Ellis or one of the talented young forwards to go through should have been playing.
By now they would be a 40 odd game player instead of in Greens case gone who knows where.
Hopefully we dont lose what talent is left for the same reasons.

In 60 years of following the club blindly, I can't remember a more toxic atmosphere. Heart breaking from a club that always had a healthy culture.
2x25= Seinor and Michael = 1xBrian Peake

I think it is time for Brett to retire gracefully before he is axed.

if any club in the WAFL deserves our respect and efforts to make it successful going forward its East Freo after the way they have been pillaged by the VFL/AFL over the years. If EF had been able to keep even 10% of its playing stock that went to the next level the club would have been untouchable in terms of WAFL premierships.

Heard Green went travelling to the country to play, not sure if true though. Probably time for the club to address off field the football department and of course the senior list. Some tough decisions with senior players who need to make way for 2018 and beyond and those who wish to move on let go for something in return. Contract those who have the ability to play senior football a give opportunities to young players to develop at league level. Seems Perth have made this decision for 2017 regardless of results. On paper East Fremantle should have won.

They have been a very healthy nursery for the AFL over the years...

Brett Peake retired after the game. Rumours of Wiley resigning if they dont win next game.
Very Toxic at Shark Park. Nothing has changed since certain leadership members forced Malaxos out, and those same leaders still there. Board needs a shake, and there recruiting has been non existent for 5 years. Fundamentally, the playing list is OK, they just need to be coached correctly, and there senior leaders need to perform or its got to be a handshake and see ya later.
