Very sad to hear the passing of Ken Judge, fantastic servant of the EFFC on and off the field. Used to love him in the long sleeve number 8 kicking some cracking goals from all angles back in the 70's/80's. Glad he came back in the 90's to coach the club to two flags. Condolences to the Judge family, sad day for the EFFC as well. Onya Judgey, never forgotten by this EF fan mate.

Sad day for WA footy. I've never met a man who loved his footy and cricket as much as Ken. I was a nobody to him but always gave me the time of day to talk a little WAFL footy when dropping off the booze to the cricket club. Thanks for these chats Ken. My condolences to the Judge family. Will be remembered as a star of our game who got the absolute best out of himself. Well played Ken. RIP

Always respected Judgey, a passionate WAFL man as well as AFL, always enjoyed his ABC Saturday sports programmes, thoughtful and forthright with his comments and his expert game commentary was always considered and fair but he always had a soft spot for his beloved Sharks and Hawks. A great footy person who will be greatly missed.

Well said Freezin,DW and Senior Seagull! Ken was truly passionate and knowledgeable about football and in particular a strong advocate for the WAFL. He was still actively supporting the East Fremantle Football Club and was present at the AGM last month. He will be missed. My condolences to the Judge family.

RIP -- his profound love of the blue and whites was obvious; as others have said, he and EF were perfectly matched on and off the field.

I just posted on the other thread but will do so on here again...I played cricket with Ken at CBC Freo in the mid to late 70s and will always remember him as a top bloke with a terrific sense of humour. I get the impression from Ken that he loved Hawthorn but was also very passionate about the WAFL. Sincere condolences to family and friends. RIP

What shocking news. I thought Ken had won his battle with jack. What a terrific football person he was - loved the Sharks, WAFL and AFL. East Fremantle and football in general are now a lot poorer without him. Condolences to his family who lost a husband and father way, way too early. Rest in Peace Ken and make sure you keep an eye on your Sharks from up here.

Had an old deep seated hatred of Essendon so would have gone out with a sly grin at what they've been reduced to.
Had a bit of John Todd about him as a coach it seemed to me, had that real old school style about him that some players would thrive on and some would probably be at his funeral to help shovel the dirt.
