Geez tough ask for the team to front up against the league leaders after that disappointing in the derby.....logic suggests if EF cant put away an under strength SF, than what chance have EF got against Subi?.....time for a few folk to stick their hands up and deliver, especially with the ladder hotting up for top 5 spots.

Common sense suggests Subi, EF playing them after a such short turn around.....Subi hopefully maybe a tad rusty after their 2 week bye......or full of beans to jump a derby trodden EF side. Dalziell out, Stephen nursing a sore hammy from all reports, Williamson and Lester-Smith hopefully back.....Schleicher back, perhaps to add some bulk up front Stavros plays Bristow up front permanently, brings in Fletcher to ruck with Young and drops Ellis or Perham to the reserves to find some goals?......not many in the reserves banging down the door TBH.....

Subi up front will once again stretch EF defence......tight game last time for 3/4 than 20 mins of Subi magic in the third stanza blew that game a part in Subis favour......time will tell I guess, gotta be in it to win it, hopefully EF took on board SF resilience and fight on Mon and show some character this weekend......big ask but Subi after a 2 week rest may come out fit and fresh or rusty as an old gate.....touch wood the latter

Cant see the reserves getting anywhere near Subi reserves, but hey one can only hope I guess........the colts keep winning without a chunk of their state boys, good to have Strnadica, Cronan and Zurhaar back v SF though.....pretty sure Strnadica after that 5.1 game v SF and WA getting thrashed by VC on Sun, big Luke might get a run v SA........fingers crossed for the weekend, dont enter it with buckets of confidence, but great opportunity to see what the league team is made of.......and like what Roman said on the SF thread pre derby footy games arent won on paper!

Shit Rock havent seen the sides... Bit early in the week isnt it or do you have Inside info B) Did Antonio get picked?
Gotta confused those SA guys because they will have a point to prove after first loss and a mix change could confuse them.. Being Souths Australians that wouldnt be hard :cheer:

No worries Rock found the complete lineups today... Good job by Cal
Hole Luke has a good game... No Red and blue in the side this week :( but good to see others getting a run. Will be watching it live on the net.

Are you guys aware of the new feature put on by Ric on WAFL FOOTYFACTS. Its brilliant
and gives a good picture of the game. Knowing a lot of EF supporters cant read :)
This should help.

Goto this link for for all games on Saturday. Game previews Right centre of page

Subi is the picked team but looking at some of the stats maybe that is a fair call especially games played at MediBank. I see you had the last win at MediBank though that is a good sign. But having said that EVERY game is a new story.
Hope the Scoreboard (for want of a better word) is fixed.
Have a good day

Well were to from here, always going to be a tough gig beating Subi but there were some worrying signs. Ball movement and skills ordinary and the form of some players must be of some concern also. Must win game against Swans or we could be in a bit of grief but think we will need to score a bit more than yesterday to win unless it's pi55ing down. Thank goodness we had BOB down back otherwise it could have been real ugly.

Not to sure about the omission of Ellis to be honest, in the top 10 for goal kicking and he plays ressies? Did'nt hit the scoreboard against South but at 194cm surely he is important to the structure up front at least. Gets a descent oppo defender which helps free up someone else surely. Had a decent game yesterday apparently so maybe he gets a recall.

Schleicher must also be close after 2 good games, was surprised he did not play league yesterday after a bog against South. Holmes,Lestersmith and Williamson favoured in front of him. Stokes could be an option for more height defensively although has been out of favour since early season, can also proved some run. Although most sides will stretch us for height defensively Swans probably more so. Cuneo and Coulthard can provide some more run but height could be an issue at the selection table.

BOB was cleaned up late in the game so hope is all good there and McGough seemed to be on one leg in the second half which restricted his influence. Liam Anthony was quiet by his standards but was no doubt feeling the effects of 3 games in close succession. Hopefully we can rebound this week and get a crucial 4pts.

perhaps Stavros can pull in all our State 18's boys into the fray especially since WA u/18s carnival is over with those two big losses...... be nice to give 199cm Luke Strnadica a go, 197cm Michael Cronan a run and other youngsters in Snadden, Bennett, Harrold and Zurhaar some opportunities to add a bit energy to this side which appear to be lacking some zest and fight of late......

season on the line stuff coming up over the next few weeks, be interested to see if the side has what it takes to turn things around.......if things don't change, I wonder if the coaching staff have the confidence to give those above youngsters a go to change things up a bit?

Heard a good rumour about the Gummies, not surprisingly that Stav is on his last legs and will be replaced at seasons end unless something magical happens and that he'll be replaced by a former Sharks premiership mentor. Just a rumour but .......

I guess with this being Stavros' s 5th year and with the experience he has at his finger tips compared to other coaches, a GF loss and a Prem loss and 2 X 5th finishes so far, a premiership is his only saving grace TBH. In some respects those Prelim 7.26 and Foxtel 2.17 goal kicking debacles werent his fault......but as the coach he has to wear the responsibility, the next few weeks are huge in terms of the clubs 2015 aspirations and Malaxos's own coaching aspirations I guess.......plump for some of those kids I reckon......got nothing to lose......bit of a dead man walking TBH......cant fault the guys passion for the job.....definitely wears his heart on his sleeve... :)
