10K fine....4 premiership points and 5 less player points.....pales into comparison to what EF neighbour's did...or what they state, they didn't do,

Laughable, certain outsiders thought they knew more and said EF were in deep shite.....Dixon going free's up a few points anyway......take it on the chin and move on. Hopefully the clubs bean counters will dot their i's and cross their t's better next time.

Interestingly in the club statement, they believed the boots and sign on were a difference in interpretation. Can't deny the error in the super however.

Is losing 5 points for players significant?

Absolutely ridiculous that a sign on for a player that is then picked up by an AFL club needs to be included in the salary cap- a player that played for another WAFL team! So not only did EF lose a gun player, which they then needed to replace- they also had the disadvantage of including that payment in the salary cap.

What a shit system!

Unless we ever get to know the full extent of the SF breach, we will never know how it compares with the EF breach. EF seem to have been a bit more open and forthcoming with the details of their breach, whereas SF very quickly accepted the strong sanctions they received which one can only assume was to ensure the full extent of the breach was never made public.
