So Junior makes way for Eardley, good to see team selection continuity. Be interesting to see how the team responds to finals footy, I guess having a second chance helps in case nerves take over.

Good luck to the Sharks today.

Young team that have exceeded expectations. Who knows how it will pan out but the future is bright. After recent coaching changes, I’m glad the Board backed Bill in. Exciting times.

We got this easily guys……great atmosphere!
Will GF win celebrations be at Shark Park? I hope so…..it’s the heart of our club.
Someone is getting ahead of themself. Didn't know you were a fan either.

No way did I think the Monts would be that easy twice in a row, although I had heart palpitations in the third quarter.  It’s almost like getting 7 goals up early, then turning your attention to next week.  Still, they came home in a rush.

Was thinking at half time EF had blown a huge chance to blow Cl away in that 2nd quarter by kicking 3.6.....then Cl let EF off the hook by kicking 4.7 themselves in the 3rd......great spread of goalkickers once again......cant remember the last time EF beat Cl back to back..  .

Great display except the last 15 minutes of the 3Q where EF made some basic mistakes and gave Claremont a sniff heading into the last. Can’t allow 11 shots at goal against most sides in a quarter and the Tigers would be kicking themselves with some missed chances.

Midfield was again excellent with Murdock and Baskerville continuing to enhance their reputations. Backline was again solid, in particular Eardley, Meade and Tassone who provided plenty of run. Montauban and English busy as always and Marsh his usual energetic self

Another big challenge against WP, who got EF only recently at Joondalup and will be well rested

Another comfortable win over Claremont who put a little bit more effort in this time around. Sharks though once again simply too good and were prepared to work much harder than their opponent. More possession, more tackles, more inside 50's and more goals!

Totally agree with KCEF's assessment regarding our best players. Eardley for me was the stand out for us with his reading of the play. His intercept marking was again a feature and seemed to repel Claremont as they went forward on many occasions. Great work in the back half overall and Meade, Tassone and Gorringe were also standouts with their courage and bravery. Through the middle Murdock with his tackling and pressure and Bennett for his run and carry deserve mention. So too does the ruck work of Goddard as he had the better of his opponent. English was also very good but really all players deserve credit for an even contribution once again.

It would be negligent to not mention the coaching staff as they have helped lift this club out of one of its darkest periods. In particular the head coach Bill Monaghan deserves the praise and gratitude of all who support the EFFC.

Well played Sharks, they are producing an impressive brand of football at the moment and next weeks game at Joondalup will be a very hard fought contest and possibly a grand final preview

Well done Sharkies, a comprehensive win with just a half a qtr fade. Most impressive for me was the ability to hit targets continuously, fast ball movement and the efficiency of mostly sticking to 1 handball, 1 kick whereas Cl over used handball most of the game which continually got them in trouble due to the EF pressure and tackling, EF fed off the turnovers very efficiently.
The game v Joondy will be a ripper, shame it's up at Sth Gero but Joondy have earned that right.

I see Leggett is only a week away from returning. Does the club roll the dice on the fella, or stick fat to the players  (Holmes, Monty or Smith) who might of  made way for Leggett, if his injury hadn't been as bad as it was.

Great to see FF2 enjoying his EF footy, by coming back and posting on the EF thread again,  been a while,  but I guess completely understandable.
