This is a must win for EF......despite all Perth's injuries,  they have been more then competitive of late....and actually due for a change of luck. With only McGuire as EF ruck option, very good opportunity for Moss to take advantage and bring AJ back to help maximize this advantage with their big fella Hyphen. 

EF mids need to be on song to minimize this advantage and ensure EF create enough scoring opportunities up front. Unlike SD and Peel, Perth's defence have no out n out tall forwards to counter.....a lot resting on Marsh reigniting his goal scoring, as he has been well held of late....hopefully Boekhorst is fit to provide EF with some much needed run.....good to see Baskerville return to his very best.....time for Schoenfeld to deliver as well.....

 

Come on Freeze, dont try and downplay EF chances, thats like us Subi supporters downplaying our chances in the previous few years. This should be another percentage booster for your very good team. I expect it will be a Joondy v EF GF this year. 

Perth are the best 2 and 11 team in the history of the comp - definitely (another) danger game for the Sharks.

Congrats to young Hagan on his league debut for EF.....talented with good skills for finding the footy and has plenty of nous too. A  few outs in Simpson, Meade, Montubaun and Murphy......though Boekhorst returns which will hopefully provide EF with some good run.......interesting to see ex SF player Ira Jetta named in the reserves.....wearing 28, yet Bockman is listed as 28 on EF playing list...and Jetta not even on EF playing list.....from memory Jetta is a talented small forward.....

How's those 3 VFL recruits going you got over? Any of them any good?

McDonald has played nearly every game and has gotten better over the season and Williamson, who is back in this week, has been good in patches. The 3rd, Medland, has play a few League but has had modest numbers in the Reserves. Haven’t seen much of him. For 3 walk-ins, they have been more than handy.

This is shaping up as a good flag race - hard to pick the finalists.  The only downside I can see is peelmantle.  If the dorks fall out of the finals race, there’s no doubt they’ll load their team through the WAFL finals.  Then several teams will fell the pain Subi felt a few years ago.  Freo ressies are an absolute scourge on the real WAFL teams.
