Well, now announced that Bill has been re-appointed. FF2 will be kerfuffled.

Likewise Bazza will be pissed Fremantle Oval WILL NOT be the home of the WAFL GF in 2021 after 90% of players voted they wanted the GF played at Optus. The 10% must have been South players. Lol.

I for one think Bill deserves his re-appointment.
A short season due to Covid last year saw us lose 4 games by less than a kick.
This season has seen the side lose key players with injuries which has also hurt.
I think if we can continue to be competitive and put more games into the young players & keep key players on the park there's no reason why we cant be a force next year.

Keep being a hard arse Bill, don't put up with sooks and we'll be right.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow at the "home of the Eagles" - the first game since the coach's re-signing has been confirmed. I am sure it will prove to a be decision that will produce renewed effort, energy and enthusiasm from all. There seems to be quite a few changes to the team that was soundly beaten in the derby on WA day. The WAFL website does not include the usual Ins and Outs on the team list - possibly part of cost cutting to have the GF at OPTUS Stadium?

At the very least the ever reliable, 3rd in the B & F and part time tagger, AFL draft prospect and possibly the greatest HBF that ever graced the green grass of Moss Street Çody Leggett comes out of the side. Shame as I am sure a warm welcome awaited at the home of the Eagles. Injury prone Hugh Dixon and Dill O'Reilly are also out. In comes Luke English, Brynn Teakle and Cody Smith for his league debut. Good to see young Junior back potentially getting a game this weekend. He was very unlucky to be dropped in the first place and has been knocking on the door ever since with strong form in the reserves. Potentially there could be up to 7 changes to the team that will face a club that managed just 1 goal in their last outing with Alexander Montauban, Max Murphy and Thomas Wallis also named on the extended bench. Good to see crowd favs Michael Tassone and Lachie Bailey hold their spots too.

Gotta feeling Bill and the team will be doing well keeping that listed Perth side to another 1 goal effort....one can only hope I guess.....great to see Smith get a debut, 193cm/98kg, surely will be happy to put his body on the line  match day v a few of those Perth boys coming back from injury...also good reward for Teakle and his recent efforts in the reserves....touch wood Strnadica gets up, whilst doing a standout job as first ruck, with Dixon and O'Reilly out, no harm in playing him at FF....if that even happens.

Be surprised if Jnr makes that bench cut Ti Em, but hey blood is always thicker then water....heard that Chalmers finger is taking longer then expected....that's disappointing to hear.....could do with his guile up front, plus the marking prowess of Dixon, the run of Schoenfeld, the terrier attributes of Murdock and of course that explosive right boot of a former Perth prodigal son....or is it his left?

Any chance that this game will be a bit of an indication of how the players feel about Bill’s reappointment, or would that be conspiracy theory territory?

it was reported that they were sad and a little surprised that Rob left so i reckon they will be fine with Bill staying on. Bill certainly has done his best and works very hard - that cannot be questioned. Hopefully the promised results come sooner than later - we don't want to end up like that club who hasn't played finals since the mid 1990's (8 rounds seasons excluded).
