Surprising news regarding Riach. Did not show much in the shortened season but not alone in that regard at shark park. So at this stage Griffin and Loersch out with, more than likely, Kommer, Manning and Riach.

Manning being an out would be a surprise is he going back to West Perth?

Given that Manning and Kommer are both over 30 next year- I'd say they've had enough. Both have been busted up over the years- can't blame them for wanting to wind it all down. Kommer has hardly played since he's arrived. Manning played some good football by the end of the season- and he had a great 2019. He'll be a loss

Kommer has been off the park more than on it I reckon, whilst Manning obviously been a leader on and off the park for EF....Chalmers and Schoenfeld are both mid 20's so hopefully they can step up and in if those two boys go....as for Riach leaving....that's footy I guess....just shows the WAFL ain't what it used to be.

Unfortunately Kommer has, as you say, spent more time off the park than on - but is always very good when he is though. No doubt a great clubman - and will certainly be missed if he does hang the boots up. Manning has been a very handy pick up but unfortunately has come during a lull in the clubs on field fortunes. He may stick around yet but probably would want to get well from the place with the way things have been. A more successful period maybe would of provided some motivation to play on.

STT and some of the other long suffering mineral resources fans seem to be hanging around here like a bad smell ever since that half back flanker they had begged to be released from his contract so he could play for the blue and whites. I guess they don't have that much going for them - particularly DD now that Trumpy Trump Trump has imploded. Perhaps improving reading comprehension should become DD's priority during the off season as STT did clearly state that supporting mineral resources meant he could not criticize other clubs performances. Very wise considering the abject failures they have been as a club the past 40 odd years.

This is getting a bit tiring from you blokes. Lots of premierships, but most of those were prior to 1950. And you haven't won a flag in the 21st century. That's a lot of years. In fact I think it's been 22 years. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this has been the longest drought in the club's history. So, yes, we've got the least to cheer about of all; but in the last 20 years or so you've been in the same boat.
