Another big test as the Sharks chase their 4th loss by a goal or under.

Not sure there’ll be too many changes given the selectors have kept a fairly steady ship so far. Maybe a couple of the talented Colts kids will get a look in or young McGuire, whose been close all year. Might as well get him in instead of a Mills or Bonomelli.

Did anyone read the article on Buffalo online yesterday? I couldn’t get access to it but heard it had some interesting points- mainly about some Senior players and that EF should extend Bills contract.

TBH the only colts boys the coaching team may look at are Carroll and Walker mate. Both boys will be drafted at the end of the year, but if the likes of Rivers, Jackson, Ruscoe and Warner couldn't get a game, can't see how Carroll and Walker will....especially since they are midfield types....not sure who they will unseat TBH.

Really think Bonomelli needs a decent run, he is 21/22, in out like the hokey pokey, if Monaghan jnr can get a decent run for limited return and he is a mid size forward, surely if Loersch's card is marked, Strnadica is out, Bonomelli at 198cm deserves a decent run....every time he goes back to the reserves he kicks a few goals, 5 last week. Probably a good time to play him v Subi, with their top tall defenders out....even Loersch as well..roll the dice I say.

Mills at 29 surely has run his race, we have enough experience types game wise with Jupp, Winton and Leggett up back...give McGuire a crack or bring back Davidson...but I reckon Mills will come back....pity O'Reilly can't play post his Freo delisting....he is a decent size for a WAFL KP.

Kinda think after EF last 3 coulda, shoulda and woulda losses v Perth, WP and Cl....a blow out loss might be on the cards...Hope not, but Subi need the win and a decent one, as they are hot on the heels of Perth....ironic considering the relations between EF and Perth of late, Perth will be crossing their fingers EF help them out here....even with a close loss, to minimize Subi's %, irrespective if a depleted Perth some how lose to SD.

Surely Leggxit has stamped himself as a bona fide midfielder hasn't he now Freezin? Genius Buffalo threw him in the midfield and bingo kicks two goals. The way your team is going that's about a third of your game average isn't it? Why waste the kid picking up cheap possessions in the backline and full back kicking in duties?

I tell you what, DD, he's been a great pick up for us. I can't really remember him from when playing against us but he's had a really good start to his EF career. He's gone through the midfield a few times but he's also gotten better over the year down back. Be interesting to see if it was a one off last week

Lets hope for Perth's sake he kicks a few more v Subi on Sat DD....enough to get EF over the line..but as you say EF game goal average ain't too flash, so one can only hope EF put up a better goal kicking effort then Perth did last weekend v Subi.

Yep was one of my favourite players KFC so it hurt to see him go. He loves tackling and intercepting and pinning the ears back, has a very good side step, occasionally gets caught but I love players who take it on. Him and Brady Grey would have been great in the same team. Oh well, you win some, you lose some as they say. Now you can see why Perth fought so hard to hold him to his contract and didn’t want to let him go. I’m sure you’ve had that conversation amongst yourselves at the game.

Yeh Freezin we’ve been pretty deadly in front of the sticks this year, Subi were inaccurate as well, maybe Subi dragged us down to their level ?? :P

Looks like our injury woes aren’t over so I can see us slipping out of the top four this weekend unless you guys knock off Subi.

Speaking of injury woes...Kommer pinged a hammy at training this week, so he is gone.....probably for good....Could of had that McGough like influence at EF, but sadly his body has curtailed any consistent on field impact since arriving.....Could of done with his inside grunt v Horsley and Kitchin on Sat.....Strnadica is back in the selection frame too apparently

Spot on Freeze- Kommer out. Wonder if that's it for him??

Montauban, Teakle, Mills, Davidson and Bockman into the squad- Teakle named on the ground- does that mean he plays?

Still not sure what the fascination os with Mills- would rather give Davidson a go down back.

Strnadica in the Reserves- along with Loersch and Bonomelli

Another interesting session by the selection panel.....on paper that defensive unit looks as good as EF can put out....the mids bar Kommer as well....great to have two talented goal kicking small forwards in Ryan and Bockman on the flanks with pressure forward Murdock in the pocket.....but seriously are Teakle, Bailey and Jansen 3 best tall forward options....Really scratching my head here....Bonomelli and Loersch each kick a bag over the last fortnight and get over looked for Teakle who has kicked no bags of goals of late...not sure the logic here.

Sounds like Bonomelli and Loersch have had their cards marked....not sure either will be at the club next year...can't see EF kicking enough goals to push Subi, so really fear a blow out coming....maybe it's part of Monaghans plan to get his old side into the finals over Perth?

Interesting to see Montuban come straight back, despite on the clubs injury hub site, a story about his season ended with a busted hand....and Strnadica playing 1st ruck in the reserves...surely the guy is a better option then Jansen up front....can see Mills, Monaghan snare two spots on the bench....surely the latter has had enough chances this year for a reserves spell, whilst the former at 29 surely isn't needed with Jupp and Winton there...how about getting more games into young Davidson or some games into young McGuire....surely they are the future and not Mills...

Would love to eat my words here, but can see Subi hitting their straps on Sat and having a day out...

Freezin surely you are not questioning a proven premiership coach who got his previous club into finals every year and multiple GF’s?
