After that reserves hammering today, I can see another cleanout on the horizon at EF....pretty ordinary result from the looks of the final score.

Seems like Subi woke from their slumber at 3/4 time 58 and EF duly put on their witches hats....can't think of the last time Subi were kept goalless at the first quarter break though....another 3-0 clean sweep to the SFC v EF.

Can't see any changes to the side v SD next week bar Griffen in for either Montuban or Teakle....probably keep Teakle to help Griff v Gault and Blakely....if it's the skippers final game, hopefully the side can give the big fella a winning send off....Looks like jnr will keep his spot after his double figure possession tally today...plus a goal.

Be interesting to see if EF have enough players to field a reserves team next week after that insipid reserves loss today.....no wonder why Jai Jackson jumped ship to Subi...

Freez...your league boys were very good today. They exposed our hand and foot skills with pressure and caused numerous turnovers. It was interesting seeing Strnadica, Loersch and Bonomeli in the ressies today with Bill going for kids. A lot to like but they ran out of puff in the last..Maybe the last 3 close one's for your boys took its toll. I thought we got a pretty good run from the maggots after quarter time...didn't impact greatly on the result but thought your guys were were a bit stiff at times.

Cheers BC..just frustrating to see that scoreline balloon out like it did, when EF obviously put in a shed load of commitment/effort to keep Subi in check.....just shows the side need a quality goal kicker...or two...that type of game plan of hustle and harass can only last for so long before fatigue sets in....got to make ones inside 50s count and build up a decent lead....so frustrating to see EF recognized goal kicking talls in Loersch, Bonomelli and Strnadica in the reserves...and the reserves kick only 3 goals....goes to show perhaps they aren't as goal kicking proficient as one thinks...mainly me!

Just got to finish off the season on a good note v SD, just not sure the current team make up are capable of kicking a match winning score though...40 odd inside 50s for just 6 goals is pretty bleak...no wonder the wheels fell off in the last through fatigue.

Very disappointing that EF fell away in the last because they didn’t deserve to lose by 7 goals. Probably didn’t get reward for effort across the first 3 Qs but not sure it was personnel, more method. Didn’t see the Reserves, but that’s a shocking result.

Certainly been a frustrating half season- I think you’re right, Freeze, I’d expect another clean out and others moving on for opportunity

Have to include - as not many mentions here
Great job and wonderful full game work ethic to Kody Manning
Two weeks in a row best on ground .. this after returning from a ham string injury and reduced match fitness.
Ads grunt and courage to the EFFC league backline.
One of the only players who can kick to another player cleanly .....
what a sad 4th Qtr- almost a best season effort , then CRASH ????

That is a matter of opinion though. Could not be bothered to watch yesterday so can't comment on that match but against the College boys Manning was good and amongst our best.

Considering the coach refuses to play our best 22, refuses to play key position forwards and yesterday a recognized ruckman to be in front at 3 quarter against any side is quite remarkable.

Poor stuff by the reserves yesterday and somewhat worrying.

Agree FIN. Manning was superb yesterday and beat Sokol on several occasions by out-bodying him which is no mean feat as Soks is pretty strong.

Ha now that’s the truth - Sokol a very good player - has been for years. Easy to see they hav a lot of respect for each other at games end.
What a disaster the reserves were on the day
No effort to play for the jumper at all
Real concerns?
Interesting comment in rooms by bill referencing why the guys fail to follow practice and training sessions and do their own their own thing - resulting in turn overs EVERY time. This failure amplified in the 4 th Qtr.
Very quiet players after the game?
But BC the Subi boys kept their heads up and took the chook. Well done them!!
