Close but not good enough in the end. Thumped in I50 and most of the WP forwards were kept in check- Keitel looked dangerous and Knott took his chances. I thought Baskerville did well on Knott, Ti Em. Good to see the Reserves with a good win- anyone see that game? Loersch kicked 4 and is surely a better option than Bonomelli. Right you are - Knott looks a real handful and Baskerville did well to hold him. I can see why the coach gave Bonomelli a go - glad Loersch responded by kicking a few goals in the Ressies win. As they say players get tired but they don't get shorter. Loersch seem to stand tall in the last quarter yesterday. Pity it wasn't for the league side.

Nearly a great win yesterday. I know you were trying to help out your Perth friends and you almost pulled it off. A win would have kept you guys in the hunt and brought WP back to the field.

I thought that Bailey showed a fair bit of promise. loersch (?) got a few good touches. A little bit to like, but you don’t give up a lead like that.

Who did Mills play on? Was mentioned it was his best game for EF so far....obviously Bonomelli and Loersch can't play in the same forward space if Bailey stays up forward.....with Cl big men is there a need for Nick Watson or Bryn Teakle to play....the former got listed as the reserves best player v WP....

Jnr surely needs to go for a more deserving player in the reserves or even colts...looks like Walker got close v WP and had a standout colts match v WP....Carroll being doing well too. Has Tassone had enough chances?....I see Jakob Ahchee kicked 3 in the reserves as well....isn't he the older sibling of the AFL Ahchee's?

A four point loss and a 6 point loss v two teams who are odds on for finals footy in 2020....be interesting to see how the next 3 games go....SD and EF have been evenly matched these past few years, whilst Subi look very vulnerable and EF and Cl with full strength sides had a close one in a pre season scratchie.....going 3/0 would be a good way to close out the season....though with EF finishing prowess could easily go 0/3...

MIlls played on Michael Lourey. Stats were basically the same but Lourey kicked 1 goal three. Mills did the job on Lourey. They are mates.
