Murphy numbers aren’t great either but Monaghans are pretty poor. Riach’s are getting better but I haven’t noticed him much- outside missing a goal late v Perth.

Escapes me, who won last years Reserves B&F???

Matthew Burton. I stand corrected Max Murphy's numbers are pretty ordinary in his last 2 games - though was good in the win over Peel. Actually Monaghan and Riach are showing steady improvement - the later had a personal season high 14 touches and 4 tackles against Mineral Resources (but missed a sitter in the last 5 minutes of that game). Joondalup at short odds should not give punter reason to be nervous and the line of 25 points should not be a problem either.

Looking forward to tomorrows game, Old Easts will come out firing, Bill will want success at Joondalup so i'm not taking this game for granted. These two clubs are traditional and full of history, hope its a bloody good game.

No you can't take your opponent for granted other wise you will have problems but i don't think that is going to happen. But you never know the Sharks may fire up and at least provide a solid contest. I hope it turns out to be the case.

Close contest it was....looks like Loersch kicked a few in the reserves win....and Brandon Walker had a stand out game in the colts great win over the previously unbeaten WP colts...surely both will come in v Cl....nothing to lose....pity Leedy is on gardening leave, would of been interesting to hear his take on the game... hopefully Winger gives us his take on the game from a WP perspective....clearly WP found their mojo after half time, whilst EF lost theirs....4 points away from a clean sweep up at Joondalup....Close but no cigar....well played WP...

Bill did his homework and scrapped up the game. We played the handball game way to often. Well done to the Sharks, they played well and it could of gone either way. I think the game was scrappy and the umpiring was crappy. All i can say it was an ugly win. Disappointed that Leedy has been banned.

29 point lead in the 3rd surrendered. Well behind in the Inside 50's which suggests our backs did very well. Jupp and Winton both excellent, Leggett very good as usual Mills had his best game in blue and white hoops. Eardley,Jansen, Bennett, Boekhurst and Snadden had very good games with Murdock courageous as ever. Snuffy very good too. Griffin excellent. Riach and Bockman good in patches. Manning and Baskerville coming back from injury understandably below their best same goes for Davies who was concussed against Mineral Resources. Add to this Monaghan, Bonomelli and Tassone doing very little and probably a few too many passengers in the end. Certainly though encouraging signs but a bitter pill to swallow, none the less, after pulling away by 5 goals at one point.

Interesting to see where the priority of a couple of Mineral Resources shallows of the gene pool flogs lay - celebrating another clubs loss instead of their own win. Congratulations on finally breaking your 40 plus year drought.

Another close loss to a team entrenched in the 4. Another 4 points gone begging and it’s certainly a what if season. But good teams win those 2 games.
Close but not good enough in the end. Thumped in I50 and most of the WP forwards were kept in check- Keitel looked dangerous and Knott took his chances. I thought Baskerville did well on Knott, Ti Em. Good to see the Reserves with a good win- anyone see that game? Loersch kicked 4 and is surely a better option than Bonomelli. Monaghan and Tassone were also quiet and will come under pressure to keep their spots
