Leggett wasn’t the worse and got in the best on the WAFL website. Probably not saying much- but at least he has a dip.

Which you can’t say for most wearing the blue and white.

Still, 1 game and percentage off top

Great response

A belting like this, coming from where he did, it would not be unfamiliar.

He was your highest possession getter, obviously didn’t play in forward line.

Mate, even Perth didn’t get belted to that degree.

Enjoy EF and your looming AFL career Cody. ????

Good to hear you have moved on.

Great response Ti Em. Certainly put me back in my place
If your club wants to target contracted players, blowing smoke up their arse in the process, then you should expect to cop it in return. It’s been done to death on here, but for majority of clubs (ie all except yours) contracts mean something and are respected.

Well you're a class act. More like smoke and mirrors at MRP because one of your best players wanted out. Anyway you seem to have forgotten you guys just arsed it up in the end.

Quite a bit of percentage. Leggett certainly was one of our best. Likewise Milan Murdock and Nick Kommer. Jupp in defence held his man for the 3 quarters before conceding 3 late goals. Would be a struggle to find others.

When you sober up in the morning STD can you break it down in English?

Harry Quartermaine kicked 7.3 for colts. Conor McPartland had 40 touches. Both effc players they didn’t list.

Ahha, actually funny you mention that. I was looking at the Perth colts list in the online budget and barely saw a player from the Perth zones. They were from everywhere but. What’s going on there? Is our zone that bad we take the unwanted leftovers from other clubs?

Good to have you back STT....great effort by both lads....McPartland has been at Perth since June last year mate...got lost in that queue behind Jackson, Rivers, Warner etc and moved to easier pickings at Perth...turned 19 back in April, so definitely filling his boots as an overager... Quartermaine played EF futures a few years back,..7.3 is a fantastic effort in today's footy,...could of done with him in EF colts 7 point loss to SF...and most definitely in the league game as well...can't list them all I guess....as DD said, PFC are definitely spreading their multi club cultural wings....

Quick look at Perth thread reveals no one is cockahoop, and takes the win for what it is.

Apologies I don’t post comments daily. I didn’t realise it was a quest to post the most comments.

To be honest, a few of your EF supporting buddies could take my lead and be a bit more judicious with the comments they post.

Enjoy Cody’s next 8 games With EF before the AFL Snaffle him up.

I don’t think anyone is going to the AFL after yesterday’s exhibition. Keeping their WAFL spot is more of a focus for them.

Interesting, FF2.

Given that all coaches mentioned are well credentialed, there has to be something that’s missing elsewhere.

My view is that the ex-AFL players they’ve accumulated just aren’t that good. Yes, Eardley, Kommer, Boekhorst, Snadden, Loersch ect have been on AFL lists but they’re not like Masten, Suban, Howlett ect that played 100 AFL games. And the non-EF ones use up points- Loersch, Kommer, Tucker and Boekhorst are 40 points alone.

Manning, Davies and Leggett have come to us from other WAFL clubs and have (I’d hope he will in Leggett case) had impact. But I’d be looking through the list and circling a few who’ve been at the club over the past 3-4 seasons and looking at output.

Hard pressed to say we’ve got value from Kommer, Boekhorst and Loersch. Tucker hasn’t played yet and is young so that’s a wait and see.

There’s a bit of work to do still

Very Good analogy
The AFL recruits have generally not succeeded in their addition to the team - maybe that's why there careers in the AFL stalled ?

Personally I would like to see the members of the team that are obviously not to the standard required (Michael Tassone in point / gun-shy and cannot make a decision under pressure) DROPPED from the league team and spend time in the reserves.

Far better to have a Reserves or infact a colts player who will commit for the jumper and has a willingness to give his all than continue with more than several players in this team hoping they will change ???- its worse than flogging a dead horse, it digging the horse back up from its grave and kicking it again...
Sth Freo are being rewarded by their new young ones - lets try it I say!!
Id rather go down fighting than the incipd effort shown last weekend
Oh - and what happened to our centres - seems they decided NOT to go for the ball as part of a winning structure???
