Teams are up on the WAFL site.

Looks to be a few missing from East Freo- Loersch, Strnadica, Manning, Riach and Jansen off the top of my head from last week- hopefully nothing sinister. Good to see Bonomelli rewarded for his game last week. Subi look strong to me but I couldn't be sure who is missing

Strnadica played well last week but did not finish the match - not sure why. Anyone know anything? Manning was lively last week and Loersch finished the game strongly so i would imagine they are being rested. Same for Jansen (who did well last week) and Riach (who was slightly disappointing). Remember Subiaco are quite an agricultural side so we don't want our stars being roughed up ahead of the derby.

Bonomelli, Leggett, Mills, Monaghan and Murdock all come in. Still, without those names mentioned above, it is a pretty strong side that should not face too much difficulty in accounting for the Lions.

One way of looking at it - you do know we have had to leave out 5 of our best players for tomorrows match? too much of a risk they could get hurt.

Strnadica had a sore foot the week leading up to the Cl game, played minutes only apparently, then rested for precaution...gotta give Bonomelli a crack.....7 last week deserves a crack....tough ask v Lockyer though....

It's football, it's a contact game FFS, whats wrong with your blokes that they cant deal with a physical game? Our best players get targeted every game they play by the opposition, go ask Horse, Kitchen, Sokol and Ryan when he was with us, he was relentlessly targeted by opposition players, dont have a problem with that, that is the game. Might have to take the handbaggers tag away from Claremont and send it down the highway to Shark park. The Reagans must be turning in their graves hearing what you say.

Its Regan not Reagan. Its easy for your boys you get an armchair ride from the umpires - something our players don't seem to get. My concern is if we get too far in front the Subi boys could try and take it out on our players. We don't want to lose any stars for the one that really matters next weekend.

A nice dilemma for your boys to have to concern themselves with, TM. :P

Sorry for the miss spelling, I suggest you check your facts regarding free kicks, we get nowhere near an armchair ride despite dominating most games which means we are usually first to the contest. i cant see any team relying on rough house footy in a practice match in an 8 game season, the risk of a report and missing games is too high, doesn't mean we'll play a marshmellow game just to make sure we don't hurt your precious "stars". Practice games are there to get game plans in place and get some match fitness, results are irrellevent .... or should be.

My impression was that TM's tongue was firmly planted in his cheek when he wrote that, SS. B)
