Its Regan not Reagan. Its easy for your boys you get an armchair ride from the umpires - something our players don't seem to get. My concern is if we get too far in front the Subi boys could try and take it out on our players. We don't want to lose any stars for the one that really matters next weekend.

Sorry for the miss spelling, I suggest you check your facts regarding free kicks, we get nowhere near an armchair ride despite dominating most games which means we are usually first to the contest. i cant see any team relying on rough house footy in a practice match in an 8 game season, the risk of a report and missing games is too high, doesn't mean we'll play a marshmellow game just to make sure we don't hurt your precious "stars". Practice games are there to get game plans in place and get some match fitness, results are irrellevent .... or should be.

We get crucified by the umpires week in week out it is a disgrace. I am not saying your players will resort to roughhousing - they may just get a little carried away. I am sure the Regan's would think it is sensible to not take risks ahead of what may be the only derby this season.

Armchair ride from the umpires. Gold. The complete opposite Ti and has been for years, it’s just the normal now.

Maybe your players are just clumsy - sounds like we should of rested a few more today.

Pretty sure most WAFL clubs don't have enough quality players to match it with Subi FF2...as you say the players confidence will be low for the derby....Pretty sure the last time EF won a scratch match was back in the Malaxos days....

What, so you've never heard that tag for your club before? I was simply using it as a dig at TiEm's precious comments about keeping players out against big bad Subi. TOO I have vivid memories of GF's against your mob in the 80's which were extremely physical and have never considered them to be soft in any way, some on here believe anyone from the western suburbs is a coftc**k and we know thats not the case.

Ha, yeah I'd had a few beers and was fired up. The round one "powder puff" derby will be the game of the round most probably
