Saw most of second half. Solid effort. EF missed a number of gettable goals. Claremont more skilful in general play. C 9.5 (59) EF 7.11 (53).

Solid hit out for the boys. Kommer, Eardley, Bennett and Boekhurst all good through the middle. Griffin did well in the ruck, Davies down back was very good as was Jupp who seem to improve as the game went on. Winton pretty solid too. Manning and Lester Smith were also lively. Montaubin looking quite different showed he could be ready to push on this season. Bailey played forward and kicked a couple of goals. Not sure what hapeend to Strnadica but he did not finish out the match. Ressies won quite comfortably with Bonomelli and the Cody's Smith and Leggett playing well.

Cheers for that lads, sounds like EF kicked 2.5/6 in the last to be pipped at the post. Hopefully Strnadica coming off was more precautionary then anything else....sounds like Bonomelli kicked a few in the reserves match in their win....was LeaterSmith up back or front....did young Davidson play league or reserves?

Lester-Smith seemed to play mostly forward. At 3 quarter time i did notice he was with the midfield huddle though. Davidson played in the league side but was a bit inconspicuous.

Leggett played in the ressies win. My first impression was he looked a bit heavy but the touch was there - clearly in our best 22. Forgive me for stating the obvious. Actually by the end the match he seemed to look a lot lighter.

So did his head look massively inflated?

Likewise with Leggett - thanks for the discount MRP. Absolute bargain that along with a pretty good impersonation of how to behave like complete plonkers thrown in too.
