So did his head look massively inflated?

Yeah it is so Leggett with the inflated ego and not the cry baby supporters at Mineral Resources.

We’re more than happy with what we saw today. Thank you very much.

Likewise with Leggett - thanks for the discount MRP. Absolute bargain that along with a pretty good impersonation of how to behave like complete plonkers thrown in too.

Talking of the plonk mate, get off it.

Such wit STT! A detente on here appears to have even less chance than Mineral Resources breaking their 40 plus year you know what.

Solid hit out and plenty to like for both CL and EF.

TT, how far off full strength do you think your boys were? Only the first proper hit out I know.

Lined up somewhere around 75-80%. Tom Lee played in defence and we blooded a few young guys, who showed some good signs. Nyhuis looked good but didn't play the second half.
We moved the ball really well at times

SS I don’t think any club, maybe bar yours can afford to be easing it into this 8 game season. Need to be ready to hit the ground at full tilt come round 1. I’m pretty sure we played full strength bar a couple of players that I expect had injuries or little niggles.

Corey Byrne won’t play for us this season I’m told, we’ve got Colledge to come in and new recruit Stubbs was in a moon boot. I expect a full strength side next week against Swans though wouldn’t be surprised to see Masto given a rest. He is going to be real important to us going by what I saw on Saturday.

I ventured down also to see what all this Leggett fuss was about. He was pretty good down back- kicked the ball well and set up some goals. Bonomelli was excellent in the Ressies- kicked 6 or 7.

League game was a good standard for a trial game- both teams looked nearly full strength to me. EF were probably the better side (in general play) over the whole game but were let down by poor finishing.
I thought Baskerville and Tassone were good out of the young guys while the usual suspects all got plenty of the ball.

Hamp played forward and Lee back for the Tigers
