They were a proud WAFL club when I was a boy ...what ever happened to them???

Apparently, money and big business talks. Everything else is unimportant because of human greed. There is none of the values in life taught to us by our parents and grandparents remaining.

Hope that this doesn't happen here in the SANFL.

Here's the answer for your kids:
Us old blokes remember them....they used to play in blue & black guernseys, but now they are an AFL club playing in the WAFL under their master's colours. They were a proud & successful club, but the lure of silver cups and finals flags was too much, so they sold out their true supporter base. How can that be you ask....so do we!!

As Much as I disliked EP it as a good rivalry between our two clubs WP and EP.The Derbies were my highlight games. God we had some beauties win lose or draw. This unfortunately will come to an end due to the uneven playing field and the input from the Eagles.
Bloody sad. Bottom line I will most probably not even attend any games between these 2 sides.

Get down to Freo derby Cardy. Always welcome as you know.

1898 a new club was formed called EF which started from Freo oval. Then made our home in, wait for it...EF yes on Moss St. Still there, have 29 flags scattered throughout the clubrooms. The AFL was formed farked up our great comp but we're still around for now anyway...unlike some who sold their soul.
