Has anyone noticed that the cry from the G7 Clubs for the alignments to be scrapped had gotten very quiet.

That's because everyone now agrees that East Perth are a basket case and no chance to win a Premiership (something East Perth supporters have been saying for ages). and with minimal help from the WAFC (reduced AFL players in the Finals), Peel will be closer to the rest of the field.

But isn't that the epitome of a compromise oto where both parties walk away thinking they've been dudded? Schofield is on record as saying the aligned clubs should only be able to field the average amount of players during the finals who played for the second half of the season...and unless I'm mistake for Peel that was nine compared to the fifteen they played in the GF.
