Something out of the Budget.. Might be of interest but operations and other factors will influence the EP side

AFL players need to play fi ve games or have a game as a travelling
emergency added to their tally to make up that fi ve - to qualify for WAFL fi nals.
However, as long as West Coast are alive in the AFL finals, Eagles players still qualify for WAFL finals.
Heading into the final round of the home-and-away season, here is a list of games all West Coast players have recorded for East Perth in 2014.
Players who have played five or more reserves qualify for reserves and league finals, however players cannot drop back to play reserves finals if they have not played five or more games in the reserves.

Jacob Brennan 12 games plus 3 as an emergency qualifies for league finals

Jack Darling 0 games does not qualify for finals
Xavier Ellis 0 games does not qualify for finals
Andrew Gaff 0 games does not qualify for finals

jeez...if they get the likes of Brennan, Butler, Josh Hill, Lycett, McGinnis, McGovern, McGinnity, McInnes, Sheed, Sinclair, Ash Smith Tunbridge, Blayne Wilson back for the finals then G7 teams won't stand a chance. Personally I can't see them risking any player who would normally be in the beags first 25 such as Butler, Lycett, McGovern, McGinnity, Sheed, Sinclair and maybe Hill...but we'll just have to wait and see I guess. btw..I'm not sure how correct that table is cardy as I'm sure Wellingham played at least a couple for the filth.

Can I point out BC that when you played us filth in about round five we had our best team of the year on the park. We will not have that quality of team come finals time. I seem to recall you handled us quite easily that night. As much as you Subi guys want to pretend your massive underdogs I sense some movement in the front of your slacks. Your getting excited about a flag against all odds like David vs Goliath.

no Larry..just being realistic. If the beags make the 8 then I think we're a pretty good show against you blokes next week but if your mob makes the GF it will be down to how many they decide to release. In saying that, the appetite the AFL guys have to play WAFL finals will also be a determining factor..so its a bit up in the air at the minute.

Being serious though check out the team we had in round 5, go to WAFL online. If you can beat that team you should feel confident. That's true many factors involved but we will not have a team on paper like we did early in the season which I think is a good thing.

Having McGovern & Lycett in the form they are in is a big factor
