Just as i thought,a minor misdemeanour and a 2k fine is all that we deserved, with no premiership or player point cap deductions.
The NO points is purely off the back of Perth's great escape, if Perth got points, the Ferals would have too.
Well there should be a Royal Commission Melaka, how your mob has come up with 500K in the bank so soon after you jibbed your creditors by paying them 4cents in the dollar, unless your club took a punt, whacked your money in membership fees into crypto and got lucky which would explain everything.

I don't think you need a royal commission Royallucky, there's been a massive change for WP since they went broke in 2018.

They got a big membership base signed up and they now run their own bar in their new rooms. The Venues West deal they'd previously been locked into since they moved to Joondalup was horrible. That's been renegotiated significantly with operating costs down and revenue up.

Did hear that WP have lost some significant sponsors this year, approx $70-80k worth and with the increase in men's salary cap and introduction of a women's salary cap this season, they need to find $120k+.

The increase in TTP for the mens and women's comps will be a challenge for a number of clubs

WAFL clubs get extra funding from the WAFC for running women's teams. Not sure if it covers ALL costs associated with that but probably also brings in more sponsorship opportunities.

Yes TT  we’ve been made aware that in recent years that they have had their own bar,but haven’t all traditional clubs  always had access to their own bar,yet still struggled to keep their head above water??You’ve mentioned their high membership numbers, but other than the Derbies, they only seem to average 1500 to 2000 at the rest of their home games, and when you consider the fact that they have apparently repaid their 250k WAFC loan back in Full,to have 500k in the bank in a relatively short time,is a remarkable turnaround.
