corner of beaufort and newcastle,theres a Coles at that site now.The old pub was the first in Perth to get a midnight licence.
 

Yep, I think they early opened as well at one stage along with the Old Melbourne for the Alchos.

Another feature of the Beaufort was the Paul Rigby caricatures on the walls of the public bar,before he found fame and fortune as a cartoonist in New York,and the Brisbane and Claisebrook tavern use to pack in the Royals and WAFL faithful in the days when an Eagle was just considered as a menacing flying bird.
