I'm happy Royal for us to come up against the strongest possible opponent, and would be even happy to see Tom Lee play to get a handle on Bradley Fullgrabes ability to step up to the next level,as well as a couple of other players showing that they have what it takes to become regular league players.

Geez, I hope we don't have a mass exodus of players in the off-season, ROYAL 2019.
However, there are 5 or 6 regulars from 2019 who played little or no league footy in 2020 and they may consider moving to greener pastures.
A reserves premiership on Sunday might be just the tonic to keep them at the club in 2021.

Mass exodus has been an a thing folk have said abt EP over the past 5 years and yet it has really to eventuate. Will it happen this year I not sure it will be a mass running for the door and other clubs.

I am aware that there are disgruntled players, certainly ones that have missed out on selection for the ressies with players from the ones dropping back but that ain't new and they often get over it.

I am also aware that 2 or 3 players who have played league are considering their future but more so around where football fits into their chosen careers and a level of disgruntledness with the playing process at the club bringing the decision to a head.

Players come and go through each season and it is not necessarily a bad thing, sad in some cases but a fact of football life.

Well they can weigh up whether they might get more opportunities elsewhere or stay with a club thats on the rise.

The turn over has been huge over recent seasons as at most clubs. Some players like Hille and Gorter hopefully hang around although league games may be limited. On the GF Rowe and Cox in for me.

Good luck to the Ressie boys this week. If they play as a team and not as individuals they should do ok. I don't think some of the players are the only ones a little disgruntled at the moment. Had a mate go down and watch them train the other night and couldn't see the Senior coach at all. Has he been around the place this week to support the club?

I've read some very silly things on this forum and can add these comments to the list. The league side went within a bees diaphragm of playing finals football and the unbeaten reserves side are playing off in a GF,which doesn't appear to me to be a club thats self imploding and your not going to find a coach more passionate than Barney who i'd give an A+ on what he's achieved thus far,and the answer to your question is he is up North at the moment and will be back before Sunday

Weather is looking good for tomorrows game. Hoping for a cracker and it should be close given Clare got within 4points last time. Good luck lads!
