Looking forward to Sundays Grand Final[but not the 9.00 am start!]where we see if we can break a 37 year drought as well as finding players who can step up to the next level.I'm still basking in my sons Year 10 Central Conference win on Monday arvo when rank outsiders Coolbinia/Mnt Hawthorn defeated a red hot favourite Bassendean side and become the first Royals district side to win in a conference that consists of the best teams from the Swans,PERTH and East Perth junior football councils and in doing so broke a 9 year drought,but looking at the game day budget i was surprised to learn that Swans have 20 clubs in their junior zones,Perth 12, and we tail off with only 8 so thank god for our southwest country zones.

Well just looking at a budget i can see 4 colts players from the old Mnt Lawley inglewood club,10 from Noranda who have been around for over 40 years,and 1 from Ellenbrook so i don't think they're missing out on much.

while you have the budget out royallucky, see how many Ellenbrook JFC players are in the East Perth Reserves and League teams and check that against the Swans teams.

2 in the league and 1 in the reserves,which are overall very poor numbers compared to Noranda.

Thanks Grump there were no semi's in this covid shortened season,and 1st played second where Bassendean finished the home and away with 9 wins and 1 loss and 265% and we won 5 game lost 4 drew 1 and had a 95% so it was a huge upset.

Swans just recruit them back from our reserves which I find insanity on there behalf. Claremont would be favourite you think Lucky.

Swans have had a good crack at Kye Willcocks and Mitch Dobson over the last couple of years which would have been better gets. Interesting off season as I expect a mass exodus at EP.
