I missed that one Grump but will watch with interest this week. I’m not privy to the club’s recruitment plans next season but we need to address a few areas to push for finals.

I noticed when I saw the previous one walking down the stairs at quarter time, I asked one of the blokes I talk to what was the go and he said the change had been made due to some issue, he did not eloborate.

Not sure what you mean Grump. I thought Sparky (last years line coach) was the bench coach for the league this year.

I think Amerduri should stay in, sadly if Rudrum is fit Msando will make way and Cahill will come in for ........?

Other changes will need to be made, one for me is Ben McGuire coming in as the other small forward with Magro.

Over to you folks!

Grump,

I mentioned to you guys before and after the WP game that EP are way too top heavy, I can't understand how Barnard is playing Jones, Simpson, Freeman and the 2 x African boys at the same time, madness. You need smaller defensive minded smalls to move across the ground quicker, Freeman in one small passage v Claremont was like an 80yo bloke trying to run and pick up the ball when it went to ground, 3 CL players swooped on it before he had time to blink, Ajang doesn't look fit and the other fella doesn't look up to it atm.

from game one i was skeptical about playing so many talls in the forward line.firstly the ball isn't getting there often enough and secondly no one is in form and clunking any marks.i would make 4 changes out goes ajang, kuet, amerduri, msando. ins would be gorter, rudrem to bolster the backs and mcguire and dobson as smaller forwards with dobbo to do some time in the centre to help a struggling midfield.i would have freeman and simpson as the two talls and eddie as back up ruck.with shortened quarters i can't see the need of a second ruck unless they can play forward and ajang hasn't been able to play that role this year. i would also think of moving blee up forward to cover simpson when he goes into the ruck.in the end if our midfield can't capitalise on jones taps then we are not going to win matches.

After getting dropped and responding well in the reserves,i'm surprised we didn't roll the dice and recalled Dobbo in such an important game.

Ok first question is why is Robertson o the bench and yes I know that it is only the listing but ....., second question is why is McGinnity back in after suffering a groin injury (good player for us but perhaps loyalty is a bit thin at the selection table), surely scott has to be questioned as to his use of the ball and value to the rest of the team, after looking at the reserves it would appear that MacKenzie is in which is good but again second game back in a must win situation.

I hope we win but surely there are some things that have to change from paper to reality!

not sure what is happening in the selection meetings.freeman out i suspect injured.should he have played last week.mcginnitty back a week early then what is stated on the injury list.our forward line will be shorter this week but ajang at full forward could be a flop.dropping hooper makes our backs short but i suspect subi are short too.we will have to play four quarteres to beat a beatable subi but do we have the right team structure?

At least there's no 4 lettered profanities in STD's post which is a bonus,
