I think that we can put up any amount of suggestions as to team selection but What Barnard decides to do after last weeks fade is anyone's guess.

I think Amerduri should stay in, sadly if Rudrum is fit Msando will make way and Cahill will come in for ........?

Other changes will need to be made, one for me is Ben McGuire coming in as the other small forward with Magro.

Over to you folks!

Grump,

I mentioned to you guys before and after the WP game that EP are way too top heavy, I can't understand how Barnard is playing Jones, Simpson, Freeman and the 2 x African boys at the same time, madness. You need smaller defensive minded smalls to move across the ground quicker, Freeman in one small passage v Claremont was like an 80yo bloke trying to run and pick up the ball when it went to ground, 3 CL players swooped on it before he had time to blink, Ajang doesn't look fit and the other fella doesn't look up to it atm.

Leedy, In some ways i agree, we are bigger than we have been and that maywell be part of the issue, after a period of not having that many we want to load up!

Sebit perhaps needs to go back to the 2's, we need a second ruck and perhaps Amos needs to be given the berth, Freeman played his first game for however many months and according to the ressies players I talk to they reckon he will be ok. Simpson just does not do enough, has all the enthusiasm but ..........!

There are players who could come in, Gorter, Arbon, The Rock and a few others so we will have to wait and see!,

Thanks for your insights

Grump you guys may be tall but thats a problem in wet weather, if fine you will have an advantage over what is one of the shortest Subi teams in some time especially down back with Lockyer, Heal, Litherland and Braut missing, we covered it against Swans by continually bring the ball to the ground, but that failed dismally against Souths. The forecast at this stage is a chance of a shower but if its more than that you might be top heavy, if fine as you showed in the 2nd qtr against CL your marking strength could be the key. At this stage I dont know who is coming back from injury, possibles are Horse and Heal.

SS that is true enough abt the weather but it still requires a bit of thought, something they showed in the first by restricting CL and then scoring against them, they then used their grey matter and end of story!

not sure how this one will roll - East Perth could trouble Subiaco if they get going early and it is last chance saloon stuff

Leedy spot on with your comments, Freeman can hardly walk so not judging his ability at this stage. I would cotton wool him until next season. Jones to ruck with five minutes a quarter from Simpson. Then start to cycle out the guys that can’t run and tackle and we will be much better. As absolutely horrible as we have looked at times this year I don’t think we are miles off being a bit more consistent next year.

Looking at your line up prior to season start and as it stands now, I tipped your lot to finish in the 4 comfortably.

Royal perhaps I am being a bit of a pessimist but we need to do more now before we can say we will improve next year.

I think if we can have 3 quarters of good stuff and build to 4 quarters by seasons end then yes there is a light but it all depends on how the team is managed. It was interesting to me to see a different bench coach this week, hopefully that continues.
