BC, Nicholas Martin what's your thoughts on him?

I don't know a whole lot about him TBH DG. I usually watch the second half of the ressies but can't say he's stood out too much in recent times. Good size about him at 6'2 and 80 odd kgs and has kicked a few goals in the two's and colts and seems to get a bit of it based on stats. What's your opinion?

Well that's interesting...according to the Subi website Sutherland has been included in the squad. I hope he plays as I like the idea of having a dedicated ruckman as Dela must be starting to get sore taking on bigger guys every week. He should still spend most of his time through the middle as he's so effective but not take so many ruck taps.

Just in the long interchange list so no guarantee he'll play. As you mentioned Wardman may be looking to protect his best player. We saw last week when the Perth ruckman used the tactic of jumping into Dela knees up early on trying to take him out of the game, Wardman quickly moved to take Delas out of the centre and bounce down ruckwork and used a few others to do that while Dela continued to take the throw-ins. Other teams will look at that, so hopefully he will get some protection from the umps. I would want Tim in for finals just incase someone takes Dela out. Interesting that Sok is named at CHF, no guarantee he'll play there as he would be up against Notte who is the best CHB and intercept mark in the comp, maybe looking for someone very mobile to run Notte around.

Perhaps that's why Sutherland has been named so Dela can play CHF and run rings around Notte.

Notte was up forward last week. Pickering changed it up a bit. Gault and Hampson were down back. Not sure if it will be the same this week.

Geez. Poor old Swans haven't been given a chance. They are quoted as 13 dollars for the win so I've been told.

WAFL site down, has anyone got s half time score?

Well....that was a game I'd rather forget. We played one quarter of decent footy and the rest was riddled with skill errors, turnovers, poor decision making and generally not a pretty sight. Swans weren't much better but at least they have an excuse of rebuilding. Soks with 6 goals, Kitch, Horse, Clark were good, the backline was it's usual efficient self, Dela got plenty of it but made too many mistakes. Not much more to be said with the only upside is that Rowan Powell and Fimmano got through the reserves ok although Craig Hoskins hurt himself early in the league...I'm not sure what happened to him but hopefully nothing serious.
