So I’m thinking in all seriousness that no one from the 60s played well into the 70s so that rules out say Ian Miller, bob shields etc.
I’m thinking a few of the prem boys would have gone close like buzz, cookie, rob wiley, mitsopoulos, ken Inman, off top of head. And then cuz.

Mitsy was cut down by injury a lot too; but if I remember my football registers correctly, he scrapped over the line with around 105 games.

Willie Dick was a fine player in two different eras in the WAFL
How many games for Troy Cook?

I think only ken bell, phil lamb and the captain played 100 games for us in the years 1975 -1983 or so -- a ridiculously low figure. Schultz and Dimmer got close to that figure of games. As you know, Randall is a good comparison, in terms of games played, because he left at the same time and had managed 152 games.

3 Surnames stood out as great stalwarts for Subi in the late 70s & 80s AR- Taylor (Neil & Brian), Lamb (Phil & Dwayne) & Brown (Clint & Rod).
Funnily enough only the Taylors were related (brothers).

BH -- all very good those common as muck English surnames for us in those days, as you say. Rod Brown, in particular, 'bese' I had a soft spot for because I am certain he played in nearly every key popsition for the club. As you know, he played in a few loses at your beloved SD before joining Subi, so it was a bit sad to see him go out in 1985 just before our flag.

Neil Taylor was the best wing man we produced in my life-time
Clint Brown -- would have played in the VFL had Bunton left him in the forward line
Brian Taylor -- good rover, whom was a bit of a goal sneak when we had our weaker sides
Dwayne Lamb -- one cannot really speak highly enough of him -- professional
Phil Lamb -- he used to chase the Narkle brothers around in his career. He was unique under Bunton because he played on the half back line, across the centre, and as a half forward flank.

AR you will be pleased to know at least Rod Brown did get to play in a Premiership in 1985 not in the WAFL but the next best League at that time the old SFL for Kalamunda who had a very good side that included many former WAFL players aside from R.Brown including John McGuire (ex EP & P), Gary Armstrong (S & P), Gerry Cotter (S), Jeff Davidson (SD), Steve Gillespie (SD), Ric Ellard (SD), Glen & Dennis O'Rourke (SD & P) etc.

BH: Rod B had some genuine successright at the end of his career.

Ken Screech is another whom would of played 100 games, but fell out with Ken Armstrong
