:P :P :P :P :P could well be right Sharpie but give Schofield a Perth or even a WP and lets see how he goes then. Wiley clearly has not impressed but has his chance in 2018 with a very good squad. Monaghan has taken WP to a Premiership, another GF appearance and Finals in almost every season at the helm with the squad we have, its highly unlikely Schofield and Wiley would have done any better.

Zac Clarke has had an amazingly long career based solely on him looking like he could be a player. His stats are shocking. If he stays fit he'll be a good average player. He's no Luke Newick.

Mate Leedy makes this shite up all the time, very little of it makes any sense.

You couldn't be further from the truth SS, it stings doesn't it when shades of dodginess surrounds your beloved club. SS surely you can see that your club indulges in under handed dealings ? If not, you are 100% brain washed :(

STT last time I saw him play at WAFL level was the 2016 GF where he dominated in the ruck. If he can stay fit, it releases Dela to do more around the ground where he excels plus some time in the forward line.

So your saying Sharpie is bullshitting about what Joondy offered those players? I think a big factor is these guys dont want to travel all the way up to south geraldton to train and play, Zac clarke is studying down at Notre Dame so spending half his life on the freeway at peak time obviously doesn't agree with him, same reason why Seaby went to Claremont.

I can categorically tell you that your spot on regarding location/travel being an issue for us recruiting players SS, nothing to do with the coaching staff.

I guess when you look at the outs in Ryan, Baker, Twomey and a handful of kids who went in the draft and compare the in's of Clarke, Rohde, Newton plus the return of Waters, Deluca, Bradley and possibly Yaz, I think we've come out of it ok. The addition of some inside and outside mids, a genuine ruckman coupled with the suiting up again of the vast majority of last years GF side suggests to me we'll be thereabouts again. Well done to the club on it's off-season efforts. No complaints from this die hard....and before the usual trolls come on here and rubbish the club please don't bother as no Subi supporters give a stuff about what you think.

Sharpie I don't disagree but also think Schofield has more resources in terms of off-field footy department personnel at his disposal than other coaches. In saying that, he relates very well with players and gets his message across which is why he's been pursued as an assistant at AFL level by more than one club. If we lose him next year it wouldn't surprise me if Monaghan is in the frame so better be careful on what we say. B)

I reckon Monaghan probably has half a football brain to be able to coach for as long as he has. Schoey as the people skills with his senior players to go with the footy stuff. And yes the travel must hurt potential recruits for joondy but at the end of the day winning games of footy is the best recruiting tool any club has. One more to come me thinks BC!

Can put the Josh Hill rumours to bed. Signed with Carlton's VFL side - presumably meaning he took the Indigenous Liaison Officer role with the AFL club.
