Isn't the tribunal chairman a former Subiaco player???....might go someway to explaining how their players continually get off at the tribunal especially at Finals time!

Now boys please....... the tribunal got it exactly right in the end on the Halligan case.
I was at the game and I also recorded the game and have watched the incident a number of times, so unlike many commenting on here I've got the footage.
In the first instance, it wasn't behind the play as initially indicated by someone.
Kitchen had received the ball and took off with Dragovich trying to get to him but running sort of stooped forward with his head low for some reason. Halligan came in to shepherd him of and did so with a good solid hip and shoulder to the upper chest region. Halligan didn't raise an elbow or jump off the ground in fact he bent his knees just before impact. Peter Bell commented that Dragovich had left himself open and he didn't seem to brace for the Halligan contact.
For those of you who may have also recorded it, it happened at around the 15 minute mark of the second quarter but was replayed in slo-mo by Channel 7 at about the 19 minute mark.
I also wish Dragovich all the best and sincerely hope he can play in the Ressies GF on Sunday, but Halligan did NOT deserve to be suspended.

So what was the judgment / explanation from the tribunal Ocker? Maybe while you are at it you could also ask the tribunal for the Dawson judgment/ decision also..

I have not been following this chain so apologies if it has been said before but as much as I might like to whinge about Subi and generally hate them you have to say fitting they are playing off in the last GF at their old home ground.

BC wrote: I'd think it would be the latter SS...a tiger can't change its stripes over night. I think this could be the most brutal GF for many years. A few of the Subi blokes have scores to settle and when you get grubs like Dawson and Suban in the mix then it should be game on before the first bounce. Also interesting that Halligan was represented by Chad Cossom. I'd heard he completed a law degree a few years ago but didn't know he was Subi's player advocate. He could have a busy night next Tuesday all things being equal.

Don't forget that grub Blair Bell who broke Heal's jaw with an elbow earlier in the season. His game should be terminated early on. on Sunday.

Good to see Wade recovered from his delisting and was able to get back on Subi's playing list and became a premiership player that year....must of been a worrying time for the fella...LOL....

Not too sure what the difference is between the two grand finalists this year....both are good at what they do......

BH and Dwerf, your comments are totally irrelevant to the factual account of what I provided..........try sticking to the facts for a change instead of your pre-conceived vitriol.
Have either of you actually seen the footage?

What were the facts that came from the judgement by the WAFL tribunal? Those are the facts. Both judgements would make very interesting reading.
For the record I was there and saw the incident and video replay.
