BC the only Subi player EF Sharks have picked up is Krakouer....the fella is back on EF list!

Can say that Broughton and Shep are heading to the Gold Coast to play for Southport. Rhys Waters has pulled the pin. Also a number of others that I will try and confirm down the track as I hear.

Bloody hell, that's such a shame. Rhys could have been anything if not for a bad run with injuries and a couple of poor choices.

Really disappointing we only got one year of Broughts back at the club, true Subi man and a valuable one point player.

As for Shep, I'm not surprised he's left, makes the signing of Powell more understandable.

This is now the third off-season in a row when I've looked at the outs we've had after a successful season and thought there's no way we'll be able to stay up at the top, but as DG mentioned, both times so far we have managed to compensate for the big losses we've had in the last few off-seasons by bringing in very adequate replacements. Hopefully this summer turns out to be the same.

I'm wondering if Yarran gets cut by Freo and if he's not in the slammer there may be a chance to get him back to Subi...a lot of "ifs" I know but funnier things have happened.

You can pretty much say Halligan and Hancock are new recruits this year.

Bad news that we have been half expecting I suppose. One door closes tho and gives an opportunity for a guy like Ryan Vermeesh who showed a bit in the 2's this season to slot into the forward line.
There was a question about recruiting a ruckman at the AGM and it was mentioned that they had tried but we're going to back in the young players coming thru and that Jordan Bestry had been training well before a minor setback. He is another who I have been impressed with in the past but has been held back by injuries.
