yep...you've got that right. the tribunal seems very loathe to suspend an aligned player.

BC, if Schoey decides to bring Dela in, I'd be looking to play him out of the goal square and move Shep out to CHF where he'll have more room to move, that gives us two tall mobile marking options, plus Ryan and maybe Waters/Garcia/Sokol/Fimmano or Stevo in support, plus Clanger can go forward as well. The Cock has been spending time at half forward and would be a good foil for Ryan creating some space and making the Souths boys a bit nervous when they get near the footy.

Like Souths we get a lot of drive off fullback/halfback through, Broughts, Heal, Twomey, Locks, & Jackson. Probably have more run from that group than Souths do.

Interesting that Kennedy had 23 touches in his comeback game in the ressies, might be a chance of getting a run.

That's a really good point re Dela SS...a permanent FF or even forward pocket would be hard to match up on if we had a dry day and Shep and Clanger were in the front half as well. Throw Ryan, Waters and maybe Sokol in the mix and it would structure up pretty well you would think.

But as with most games it comes down to the mids, if we can at least break even, especially if they lose Hams, I think our backs are better than there's so we may get the edge there. We will get beaten in the taps at stoppages, Higgins was in very good form for them so as we have done all season our mids will be roving to a beaten ruck but we should have their measure around the ground with Clang, Bradley, Shep and maybe Dela. So important to restrict their 2 key forwards who are in great form, Jackson is a good match physically and pace wise with Saunders but Saunders may have more smarts, Locks or Heal will get their big CHF so both will match up well.

Mate he's enjoying his break and busy with his new 2 week old daughter. He's got a wing attack & wing defence so far but no chf or chb's yet. Not given any thought to coming back and raising the average IQ on the Swans thread just yet. He's coming down for the game Sunday though.

Pass on our congrats to TOSGs new addition SS ...seems like the powers above did TOSG a favour by enabling him to bond with his new born daughter instead of the SD boys......definitely good to see Oz footy being family friendly! ;)

Well done Outer, congrats. The forum might have banned him but the WAFC obviously love him. I keep seeing his mug on promos all over the place.
