well...here we go again. off down to centrelink park or otherwise known as the chunderdome. it looks like freo are dropping back Bennell, Zac Clarke, Alex Pearce plus a few others which won't make our job any easier. the only saving grace is the aforementioned won't want to get hurt for Freo's round 1 game...so hopefully they'll just run around a bit and not get too involved. Subi by 10 points.

BC a good challenge first up down there, will be tough and all about who the Dorks release. Don't think any of the higher grade Freo boys will be taking it easy as they will want to put their names in front of the selectors for round 1.

We will be without a few first picks with injuries to Broughts, Kennedy, Stevo, Waters & maybe Robbo plus Cock's suspension, so a chance for some others to step up against a strong opponent. It appeared that Sokol went into the book in the Swans game, any news on him as he has been in super pre-season form with 10 goals in 2 games.

Usually give this fixture a miss but being the first game I'll head down for a look.

It was Halligan that went into the book SS for rough conduct but the charge was dropped once they saw the vision.

Hey BC was speaking to Rhys's old man a few weeks ago and he apparently had to have more scans done, so not sure how far away he is at this stage. As for Clanger I am pretty sure that he will play this weekend but don't quote me on that.

Thanks Buddy that's good news, we will need everyone on the park to beat Freo this weekend, they will have a few very handy AFL boys playing besides the normal AFL leftovers, could this be the first time Peel field a team with zippo non AFL listed players??

Hopefully Sokol can continue his hot form, he's shaping up as a better forward than Yazz was as he has a pretty good defensive side to his game and so far hasn't gone missing to often. Can expect he'll get a pretty good AFL boy to follow him around, great test for the lad plus they have Clarke & Bennel in the middle so a good test for Madut and the mids who have been in solid form.

yep...did I read they had 15 AFL listed players against the handbaggers last weekend? If that's the case 18 or so is very realistic for this weekend.

Now wouldn't that be a wonderful thing for our beloved comp.

Looking forward to seeing the team named for Saturday, at this stage the definite outs would be Broughts, Cockie and Waters, probably Stevo & Kennedy and maybe Robbo who didn't play a pre-season game. Would expect Clang to line up, he will be vital against a FART team that will have plenty of talls.

not a bad line up considering. would be much better with Broughts and the Cock but I'm still reasonably confident.
