I must admit to being more than a little concerned over our injury count...unless I'm mistaken out of our starting 22 we currently have Boland, Dela, Madut, Twomey, Waters, Deluca, Rumba just to name the obvious. Is this just coincidence in a long and tough season or is there a problem with our strength and conditioning/recovery regimes? I read we only had 9 of last years GF side playing against the feral WARTS which means it was a terrific result but could also indicate a deeper problem.

Madut isnt injured he played Reserves and was kicking the dew off the grass on Saturday!
As Leedy has posted a few times these are not "real injuries"!

ok...didnt see Madut in the two's but it doesn't account for all the others. points are no longer an issue as we're now under the 130 cap so it's not as though we need to manipulate registrations so it's either resting players given we're games plus percentage ahead or guys are genuinely injured which is a worry as there seems to be a steady procession of players out for extended periods.

BH is just fishing.

I was surprised to see Madut in the 2's, obviously not a points issue as he's a local junior, maybe a disciplinary move for some misdemeanor? I expected he and Bestry would both line up given the two WART monsters in the ruck and Dela's injury, but given we are yet to be on the positive side of the tapout ledger I suspect Schoey took that as a given and went for more run and put his faith in Clanger and Bestry to make a contest and that's exactly what they did especially around the ground. I think we'll see many of those boys back after the bye, I understand that if it was a final Rumba would have played, but an extra week off for the old boy will do him no harm. Following the D's we have games against finals contenders Swans and Souths, really tough games against teams desperate to cement a finals place so we'd want them all up and about.

BC, teams have runs of injuries and manage them as best they can, we've seen that with the Eagles who have lost half their backline and last year with the Hawks when they had a big injury count but the team structures and discipline held up due to what the coaching panels had implemented, the same applies at Subi, whoever comes in knows what is expected of them and the confidence and discipline to carry it out, lets hope that continues.

You can add stevenson to that list after having a knee recon 6weeks ago. Im pretty sure he played in ur premier ship last year?

Fair effort from schoey to keep the boys on track and the boys for continuing to win.
Confidence and belief is a wonderful thing in sport!!

Madut just got dropped to have a run in the ressies I believe. Although I reckon he had a very poor game and didn't seem to want to chase and tackle - which has been his strength so he didn't do himself many favours I wouldn't think? I was impressed with Worthington's return to the league - great attack on the ball and spoiling. I think I saw Waters in a knee brace - didn't look good. I'm pretty sure Boland, Rumble, Twomey, DeLuca just having a two week break with the bye. I'm really looking forward to Subi's push into the finals with a final team sorting itself out.

hahaha...nice work MD. If I was a swans supporter I'd be up in arms and demanding proof or an apology...anyway, according to the informed on this site Subi doesn't have a salary cap...just plenty of paper bags and white goods, so no problems there. ;-)

Geez don't mention paper bags and whitegoods around Swans supporters. Not after Krakouer had a set of tyres and another player had multiple speeding fines and rent paid for outside of the cap a few years ago. I'm just heading out the the glasshouse to chuck some rocks around.
