Worthington and Blech look like they had good games in the ressies

Yes they did, also anyone think Bestry could be a chance next week with Dela out? He's been pushing hard....

DG...if Rumba comes back you'd think they'd push Clanger back to the forward line to cover for Dela...but in saying that, I'm all for giving the young blokes a crack.

Blech has been burning in the 2's, just shows how hard it is to break into the best midfield in the comp. Wortho faces a similar battle to get back into the best defense in the comp ... who would you drop to make way for him? With another finals campaign beckoning and if good enough the chance of making the GF, competition for spots will be fierce to say the least.

I think Bestry has a really good future in front of him, we've seen what opportunity can do with Madut and the couple of times Bestry has made it to league he's shown a bit, looks a natural footballer but still very lean. Bit more finesse than Maduts bullocking style so would make a good pair against the feral monsters. The key will be the mids and I think our midfield runs deeper than theirs with the added dimension of our guys playing for the jumper rather than just a contract extension.

Well said Dags, its not as if you can't afford to rest a 45yo and play a 18-20yo :P

Almost certain that Rumba will be kept out of the Wart game as we have the bye next up so it will give him a decent rest and set him up for a run at his 6th premiership medal ... hopefully!! Dec Jackson is a very good up and coming FB, big solid lad who has a bit more pace than Rumba ... but that's not saying a lot, and he reads the game quite well, good opportunity and education to play against an AFL squad tall forward.

I think they will do the same with Dela so he has that 3 week break which is pretty mandatory for any sort of hammy.

Still a few missing such as Garcia,Twomey,Waters,Fetherstonhaugh,Scafidi and possibly Delahunty and Rumble.Great to see cast offs from other clubs in Latham and Heal being developed into really solid and dependable footballers by Subi.Others making great progress include Halligan,Madut,Kennedy and Lefanu, all of whom came up through our colts system. This week I reckon Wortho,Blech and Bestry may come in if Rumba and Delahunty are injured.Norriss might also struggle to hold his spot.We owe EP after they caned us last time.

Subiaco are as professional a sporting club as any in the country outside the elite level. I guess they have elite money to spend, but they turn ordinary players into good players regularly. We need to win but just lack that last bit of desperation to win against good teams.
