Massive game this weekend against the FART. Forecast is for a wet weekend which will suit us given Freo's massive height advantage and 16+ AFL listed players and their skills and endurance. Wet weather will be an equalizing factor and make it a down and dirty inside game. Hopefully we can bring the same sort of commitment we showed in last years wet GF.

Lets hope Schoey has had them doing some intense goal shooting practice after throwing away any chance of a win with a 5.15 effort against Joondy. Our brigade of in and under mids should be able to more than match Freo if it is wet.

Does anyone have any info on the reports on Madut & Deluca, I understand both were reported for striking?

Just noted Cardy had the tribunal results list in the Joondy thread, both boys pleaded guilty and got reprimands, so that's good news.

I'm in 2 minds on this one. We're not in great form but then again, which FART will show up to play? With the large numbers of AFL listed players FART should give it a shake but I saw them down at the Chunderdome/Centrelink Park earlier in the year and they weren't all that convincing. I'll go for Subi as I'd hope Schowey addressed our shortcomings from last Saturday during the week but I don't tip them with any confidence.

Pretty sure Subi saw enough of EFFC goal kicking coach in the prelim last year to give the fella a wide berth in the future......rumour has it though Subi gave him an honary premiership medallion after their GF win as a token of gratitude.......7.25.....fark it still haunts me!

we gave it a red hot crack last week against the garlics with 5.15 but still couldn't reach the dizzy heights of your mob.

that type of non-goalkicking spreads like a virus through a team, when a couple of forwards start to miss a few it seems to make everyone nervous, it happens regularly. Subi are the most inaccurate team in the comp, imagine if they were converting at a reasonable rate of around 60% our % would be 250+. Luckily we have the best defense with points against at historic lows, lets hope they can continue that against FART. Seems the weather may be cloudy but fine rather than earlier reports of rain, this will benefit Fart who are loaded with quality talls against our 3 talls in Madut, Delahunty & Wheeler.

Boland should be much better for last weeks run, hopefully he can take more grabs and get his kicking boots on. Yazz must be looking at a run in the 2's soon unless his form picks up, thought he was better against the Handbaggers but copped a quality opponent in Adams last week and really didn't give a yelp. I don't think he moves around enough, now that Bolands back he needs to be constantly moving through the forward half not trying for hangers and cheap frees, he can convert from anywhere near the 50 and needs the ball put out infront of him so he can use his elusive skills to best effect.
