Have noticed Subiaco have been kicking an average of 15 goals per match, which is the best in the league. From memory, have only played 2 games in the qualifying rounds where they kicked a total of under 10 goals.

The boys are fired up mate. They are going to give it everything. The ressies are pumped also. Everyone knows it will be tough but they're here to throw a spanner in the works.

All the boys trained including DeLuca, Hampson, Horsley and Boland.

A few others like Bogensperger and Forrest busting a gut to give the selectors something to think about.

It's game on.

I would play Forrest, watched him train the house down last night and you know he will give 100% on the day and is a good match for Butler.

I have total faith and belief in our boys, it's ours to win and our best footy will beat anyone on the day.

Yeah, good stuff mate.

One thing that worries me is if a lot of neutral people boycott the game as they are saying then it might mean EP have the bigger support. I'm sure those boycotting the fixture would have supported Subi and that would have been a nice boost.

I even know a few Eagles people who are going just to barrack for "their" players even though they don't go to the WAFL normally.

LaH I personally am unlikely to styay for the "league GF" after the colts' GF.

How will the Eagles' supporters know which team to support unless "east Perth" will be wearing the Eagles' colours?

makes EF loss to Subi even more depressing.....kept Subi to 10 goals.....and in the process had 33 scoring shots themselves......fark I'm depressed!!

Yes, I fully understand your position mate. I just reckon the extra support might have given the Maroon lads a bit of extra zip.

I plan on being louder than all EP supporters combined, the boys will know that we are there and behind them.

The noise of the supporters doesn't worry me, the predicted temperature does. We have the same amount of mids they do but theirs are a bit deeper. It will be an advantage to them late when the heat takes its toll.

In saying that we played a shorter team against them in the 2nd semi, I hope we keep Stockley in for the GF. I thought McDougall and Stockley were influential in the last quarter against East Fremantle. Took a few strong marks when needed. We will need both of them against Johnson and Sinclair.

yep...agree Barney. this game will be won or lost in the midfield. both teams have pretty potent forwards but it will be supply which dictates the outcome. I'm also concerned our mids will run out of puff in the heat compared to WARTS contingent of professional footballers who don't have to work all day then train like ours do.
