Well...it's here. repeat our last two outings against the eagles and we're into a GF. I don't think you can get much out of yesterday's game other than some encouraging form from Stevo and Dela. Hopefully we'll step up another couple of cogs for a second semi and when you throw Chris Deluca, Dougs, Fez into the mix, I think we'll give a pretty strong showing. It may work to our advantage too that the beagles are out as if they were playing finals this week, they'd want everyone who isn't playing AFL on the park in the WAFL to give them game time. With a bit of luck they'll withhold the likes of Lycett, McGovern, Butler and co due to risk of injury and the chance of an interrupted pre-season next year.

I'm also hoping supporters of non-aligned clubs in the early games stay on and support Subi against WART and send a message that the WAFL is about the true WAFL clubs and not WART and FART.

Not a fan of the Subi latte sippers, but in this case I can change for the short term.

Gets a touch easier, Simpson said on the radio this afternoon that Lycett and McGovern won't play WAFL finals. Will be great of they take out a couple more good ones and make them play the underperformers.

this was Adam Simpson yesterday...it sounds like WART will have a small army of beagles inclusions next weekend.

"While our players are available at WAFL level, and we really want to have some success at East Perth, we'll let the season play out there and I think our list lodgement is not required until the end of the season. So we'll take our time."

The Eagles have 17 players eligible to play for East Perth after playing the minimum five games required to qualify. Most will be made available with the exception of Jeremy McGovern and Scott Lycett..."

Didn't want them to have Lycett. Don't want them to get Butler.

Will be very happy if they have to play Smith, Main, Brennan, McInness and Hill. That would be to our advantage.

BC, during finals I never believe anything re injuries until I see it myself. So many games get played trying to get that extra bit of advantage. Hoping this is the case with George.

George is vital to Scabby. My favourite WAFL player he kills EP.

unfortunately Barney ocker said he actually spoke to George after the EF game last weekend...so hope you're right.
