you'd think they'd be rested only given the sharks would have to beat us by a huge amount to turf us out of second.

You would have to be delusional if anyone believed that the Sharks could snatch second spot from Subi. East Freo's biggest win for the season was last Saturday when they won by 62 points. The Sharks need to win by 30 goals to take second spot! Mission impossible!!

DG,have no info on these players.Phelan and Hampson have played a lot of footy and are probably being rested.Thought Blech would have been selected for this game.He always plays well against EF and his ressies form has been solid.

when you look at the team for sunday it's not going to be easy to fit george, fez or dougs back in the squad. they're all probably in our best 18 but they're midfielder/forward types so who do you drop? maybe dougs on the bench to interchange with stockley and fez on the bench as a midfield rotation but not sure what you'd do with george...maybe off the bench as well. davey and latham must be in trouble keeping their spots next week and clanger can go back to cover...its an interesting call for schowy on who's in and who's out. also if the beags fall into the 8, reckon they'll hold a couple back from the filth just to make sure they don't get any injuries playing in a WAFL final. so it could work out ok for us.

Dela is a massive in and really he had to have a run Sunday or would have been in serious doubt for the finals by not having a run. He adds not just to the ruck which is pretty healthy with Clang, Dougs and Stocks all up and about which we will need if the filth load up with Eagles talls but can also play CHF where his marking, pace and being a lefty make him very dangerous.

Yarran back in the forward line makes it significantly better and will free up Boland, plus if Dela goes to CHF I don't think the Gummies have sufficient talls to match up with out guys.

As always it will be won or lost in the mids and we must have a heavy tag on O'Brien or he will carve us up again, who's disciplined enough to run with him?

And it would be nice if the forwards can convert at something better than 50% this week, we have lost at least 4 winnable games due to poor shooting

Thanks mate yes so many guys pushing up hard, good position to be in. Stevo is an interesting one if he plays, how many weeks has he been out for?
