Well done Falcons, apart from the ERT game, that was a solid 4 qtr effort, Stockley doesn't look like he has improved, Keunan took the honours over him and Delahaunty for mine ! (hence why he is the State ruck man) Jones, Rodda, Adams were good up front !

Well done on 3 out of 3 today WP. Stockley has improved but didn't play well today - He's had a great season and we couldn't be happier with his efforts.

Subi have a bit of work to do and out depth is being tested - We'll be there abouts at the end of the season but doubt we'll be 1st or 2nd - Hope I'm wrong ???

To be fair I don't think Keunan realy had much of an impact on the game - and he didn't realy dominate Subi's rucks. If that's how he plays in the state game we'll be in trouble. Watching the replay tonight subi deserved to go down as WP were hungry for the footy and made less mistakes. But we weren't as terrible as some are saying. Subi must make sure they don't slip too far back in the next month and hope they can get some players back on the park.
Big outs for me at the moment are Rumble,JKT,Hilda and McDougall - Get those guy's back and the side looks a lot more steady. Also missed Waters and Deluca for some run. I know there's about another 8 out but they are finge or depth players if we're at full strength.

If we're going to have injuries or form troubles (they go together) well now's the time (not at the end of the season) Subi must get in the finals and hope they have most guy's fit and firing when it counts. Still happy on our season so far but things can change quickly. The state game bye is a welcome blessing for us I feel.

Good summary mate but I also think Elliot & Kennedy are very important to our side. Also where is Pickett?

Yep Elliot and Kennedy are developing players of the future and both showed that they can play. I liked the hardness of Kennedy and Elliot is close checking but a bit one dimensional. As he develops and plays more league footy he'll have to run off players and set up attacks from the backline. At the moment he's a good stopper and that's what he's probably told to do but these days in modern footy you've got to do more. I think he shows promise and will get better for the experience. His opponents aren't kicking many goals themselves but they have still had score assists. I like his speed and spoiling but as he gains strength and body weight the next challenge in years to come will be to out mark and run-off opponents - This will take time and I wish him the best. Our backline is in need of young blood and let's hope he can be a regular down the track.

Finally got around to posting something after a very disappointing game against Joondy. Congrats to Joondy for the clean sweep.

Not much in the league game, Joondy were much cleaner in their handling and ran harder, their spread was much better than ours.

Critical was our poor ball handling, looked at times like Joondy were playing with a footy and we were playing with a cake of soap and like the Swans game we had so many kicks smothered, are we too slow getting rid of the pill?? In the end it came down to 3 critical errors, Clangers tickle to Rodda's midrift ... greatest limp faller since Paul Rigby, got up instantly when he saw he had a free kick but no excuse for Clang to give the maggots the opportunity to pay a soft one. Wortho's shocker which fell short and they rebounded for a goal and the clincher late in the last with the kick in from out of bounds straight to them which killed off our strong last qtr challenge.

Credit to the boys for the fight back but really would have been theft if we had snatched it.

Hopefully we get some healthy bodies back for the showdown at the showgrounds. Obviously CL have improved significantly given Swans only managed a reasonable winning margin, we should win but will have to improve our ball handling and spread when we win the ball. Will catch the train down as apparently the showgrounds station is open for WAFL games.

Chop, the only certainty to come back would be Waters from suspension. Those who I think would be close include Hildebrandt,Elliot,Rumble,Kayler-Thomson and Kerr.Another worry is the fact that Twomey,Delahunty and Boland could not be considered for state selection due to injury concerns, although the state bye might be enough to get them across the line. Our luck must start to turn soon you would hope.

Precise recount there Senior, although you are a bit harsh on blaming the injured Wortho for a clanger when it was his lookalike in Stevenson who made the stuff up.Moore and Daniels will be lucky to hold their places in the line up.They look good in the ressies but can get caught out by the extra speed and intensity of the league.Scafidi deserves a crack and Waters will return.I liked the efforts of youngsters Featherstonaugh and Halligan who made good scoring returns of 4 goals between them.Great to see the solid form of ressies players Hoskins,Heal,Norriss and Jackson who are hopefully going to play seniors in the not too distant future.

Moore's was a corky so I assume Schoey and the medico's thought he needed to keep running it!! 2 weeks off should see him right for next Monday. What are the actual injuries that are keeping out guys like Hildo, JKT, Rumba, etc ?
