The WAFC continually beat the drum about blokes like Wells, Ballantyne, Morabito, Ray & Black et al having come from Peel but those boys would have still played in the AFL under the old zones of SD, SF, EP that Peel have taken over!

I'm not sure of the exact colts and reserves lists because there seems to be a computer error again with both lists incomplete.

But from what I understand Jimmy Garcia makes his return from injury in the reserves which is great. Not 100% sure but I think Ryan Vermeersch and Chris Bryan, too very promising players for the club, will make their reserves debuts.

In the colts, we will be without Bryan and Vermeersch as mentioned, plus Greg Clark, Adam Creeper (WA 18's) as well as Cody Grace who is out for the season. From what I understand, Aaron Summers and Max Walters have been released from state duties for this weekend and will be available.

15 year old Jack Beverley has been named in the preliminary colts squad and if he debuts will join Greg Clark, Tom Hooper and Chris DeLuca as 15 year olds who have played colts for Subiaco since the boundary redistribution kicked in back in 2010.

Yes, I wish I knew a bit more about their zone. I know the northern suburbs zones pretty well but junior clubs like Baldivis, Safety Bay, Rockingham, Secret Harbour, Halls Head, Mandurah Central, North Mandurah, Pinjarra, Port Kennedy, South Mandurah, Warnbro, Waroona are their "metro" junior clubs and on paper they seems like very strong clubs. 12 junior clubs is a good number to work with.

Yep they have a top zone and 2morro we'll have Yarran from Soth Mandurah and Heal from Baldivis lining up for us - I'd love to have their zone as their junior participation numbers would be massive. I know that in years to come they will get even bigger. I was told that Baldivis Juniors is huge - 4 oz kick teams and 4 x under 10's that I know of and I'll find out their other grades and numbers for you.

I guess it must be awkward having their SWFL colts boys training separately from their metro colts boys. Apparently they only join up on Thursdays. At least that's how I remember it being explained to me.

But back to the game against West Perth. Doesn't look like Scafidi got a game so it will be interesting to see how they line-up.

We continue to get hit hard with injuries,Chop.Out at the moment are Hildebrandt,Rumble,Kennedy,Worthington,Elliot,Mcdougall,Kerr,Davey and Mcdonald.Forrest and Gum are finished for the year,Josh Deluca is away with the state 18's and Waters has one week left to serve out a suspension. That's 13 of our top 30 missing and there are others injured such as Madut,Hay,Smythe and Garcia who have all played league.I know these injuries give opportunities to our hard working ressies but Iam annoyed with this massive injury toll week in and week out.Tomorrow we meet WP who are virtually at full strength so it will be an enormous effort if we are able to pull off another victory, although we do get to play at Medibank which should help us.Go Subi.

He's a ripper. Can play in a lot of positions. Tall-ish already for a 15 year old. Nice skills, kicking technique. Another good prospect for us. Hope he does well if he gets a game.

Well done Falcons, apart from the ERT game, that was a solid 4 qtr effort, Stockley doesn't look like he has improved, Keunan took the honours over him and Delahaunty for mine ! (hence why he is the State ruck man) Jones, Rodda, Adams were good up front !
