I agree. With the Dockers injury list getting bigger and bigger they will really struggle. Hoping Wood kicks 10 for them and we win by 30 goals to 10.

Then next week we beat East Perth who will also be struggling to fill the holes made by the WCE injury list.

How good would it be to be the first team to beat both.

Would prefer to play both of the fagots at full strength to see where we are at but maybe this will come later in the season...but if it doesnt then i wont be too disappointed as karma is a real bitch...

Just looking at the colts game firstly - it looks as though we will be without McAlister, T Hooper, Clark, Walters, Summers, Creeper and Grace due mainly to state 18's commitments. All front line players as Subi supporters know. Depth will be tested but a good opportunity for others.

Yeah outerseagull noticed it. I was in the pit.

That will force a bit of a reshuffle for sure. Peel have some taller players to counter like Moller, Apeness and Wilkins. Ballard looked a good player from what I saw on the ABC replay last week.

A very good win without front-line players Rhys McAlister, Max Walters, Cody Grace, Aaron Summers, Tom Hooper, Adam Creeper and Greg Clark.

Although, it took a while to shake Peel off due in part to their good play and our poor foot skills and wonky decision making. For some reason our kicks weren't even spinning properly. It was only in the third quarter that things began to click.

It was great to see Ryan Vermeersch strike top form with four goals. Fellow Esperance FL product Jak Cary played a very good game also - initially in defence and later in the forward line. He moves well for a 191cm player. JJ Woodley had another good game kicking 3 goals which puts him second on the WAFL colts goal kicking leader board.

Chris Bryan's clean skills on the ground and sure delivery kept us in the game in the first half as did Connor Wilkinson's aggression and run through the midfield. Tim Edwards also contributed strongly.

Kambalda player Callum Bramley impressed on a wing in his first game for the club.

16 year old 200cm ruckman Ashton Williamson is raw and still very slightly built but throws himself into contests both in the air and on the ground and is a fine prospect.

Debutant Jay Allison-Green was very calm and measured in the backline. Corey Buscall played with his usual dash and Brennan Pearce cut off many Thunder attacks while collecting 29 possessions.

Virtually every player played a part.
