Not sure what happened to Mayo but that's a big out.  Also, Borchet to CHB is a good move.  Pleasing to see Schofield, Kentfield and Hayden all named in the starting 18.

That's a lot of changes in one go. And a lot of under prepared players. Expect injuries.

I think the changes are justified given the recent below par performances. We are past the point of being cautious, just 13 games including tomorrow to turn things around, need to win 8 of those 13 to have any chance of finals. Hopefully Borch can turn things around at CHB, I like the look of the forward line with Schoey, Robbins and Evitt, all three with pace and good skills. On the bench, obviously Rohde will be one, Ash who should never have been dropped, Kelman again for pace and Alone who will likely go to Ducker Schloithe. Absolute must win as we wont get within a bulls roar of the Ferals and SD will be a very tough assignment.

I think we might get spanked tomorrow but really good to see young Hayden back in. It'll take a few games but reckon he'll be a big plus off half back as the season goes on.

The bench is J. Farone, Morgan, Rhode, Snadden. Alone is emergency. Mayo a big out

FMD how did Snadden get another game, he's a very good ressies player but cant make the step up to league. has the physique and skills but .................would have Alone ahead of Snadden every day of the week.

On the plus side, Robbo named best player. It was a good game of football and wafl wonderland  added a bit . Can't believe I'm  saying that. It was a good day all round. Apart from the result.

I was sitting up the back of the grandstand with my daughter and after half time a few of the ressies sat behind me including Ben Golding and Connor Faraone. I heard them commenting on how bad our skills were today. Well boys, here's a news flash, it has been atrocious all year with missed targets, poor decision making and worse execution.

We could and probably should have won today when you look at scoring shots, inside 50s, time in possession and so on but the turnovers killed us and let Souths off the hook time and time again. We still haven't sorted out our entry into F50 but at least they weren't bombing it in, they were lowering their eyes and kicking it to South's defenders instead but at least the ball carriers were hitting someone.

Better players were the Hickmotts, Clark had a crack, Robbins some good things, Corbett probably played his best game for the club and I like the way young Evitt keeps presenting. A dirty day which also saw Kyron Hayden do a hammy or quad in his first seniors game back from an ACL.

This week was umpires appreciation round and I really enjoyed the way they gave Souths 20 free kicks to our 9 which included some very soft calls right in front of Souths goals. Thank you guys for all your service as it certainly influenced the result, but probably not as much as our poor skills execution.

Yep terrible skills. Robbins best game I think. One of the few with genuine pace, we need more like him. Savigni looked good in the forward line late, he gave us a target with his strong hands, probably worth persevering with. Hayden can't catch a break although hammy's are common early in acl comeback's

Corbett played really well. Unlucky to be caught holding the ball in the last quarter. No real prior, but the ball dropped in an accusing way. Evitt looks a likely type.

Wardman was really passionate at 3/4 time. Thought he was pretty impressive.
