Not sure what's wrong with Max but I see McGowan has been dropped.  No surprises as I thought his disposal and hitting targets was pretty ordinary last few weeks.  Borchet survives but Braut in the two's with Gus back in and unless I'm reading it wrong Kentfield looks like he's getting a crack.  Has kicked a few goals and is a big boy for his age so good luck to him.

Some interesting selections. Think they're giving borchett a chance to find form, McGowan a rest, farone a go, ditto Ash. It's about managing a squad. But slightly dangerous . Losing to Perth with really hurt.

Subi were in a scoring mood in the reserves and the league. Perth just couldn't go with them. At least the game was open most of the time. Some nice skills from some of the Perth boys but the game lacked something.

Perth boys need to put on some size. next week against the royals will be the big test. Selection will be interesting. Braut and McGowan a good chance to return. Robins looked good in the ressies. Not sure who comes out. And Maxy, of course. Some tough decisions.

Maxy didn’t play reserves so assume he is injured? He surely looked lethargic or injured last week. I’d give Will Hickmott a spell, he gets the football but is chaotic with his disposal. Borchet was interesting today, at least got into the game but couldn’t hold onto the ball. Not sure of the point of Kenterfield other than exposure. Berenger was missing. The three key forwards still aren’t working. Mayo was getting his possessions on the wing and further. Our goals coming from mids and smalls.
Seemed a lot of positives in the first 3 quarters but maybe the opposition spoilt us?

A good solid win and probably a little easier than I expected. We were on from the start and the intensity was up in the first quarter compared to previous weeks. Our connection between the mids and forwards was much better with the ball carrier looking for options instead of just bombing it in.

I thought our smalls in Faraone, Schofield, Tholstrup, Giro were all very good. At 21, Savigni must be a chance to get drafted as he was outstanding across half back along with Heal, Stainsby and Dewar. The Motts were prominent as was Clarke, Kitch, Ash and Golding. A good team effort.

I feel for Perth supporters as the team's decision making was baffling at times and skills execution left a lot to be desired. There were a few bright patches but I think it'll be a tough road ahead for the next season or two until some of your colts and ressies start to come through.

Haven’t been able to get to many games lately due to work ,but was Kentfield used as the back ruckman instead of Borchet in this game? I thought this was why he was selected.

Yes Jjim Kentfield did a little rucking. Disappointing last qtr, we needed to finish strong and take that form into next week. If we take that last qtr shit into next week ferals will have us for breakfast

BC I think we will be more competitive next year.
PG, I am sure is sorting out the chaff.
Charlie Thompson is the only A grader costing us points.
AJ is the only other points that is remotely resembling an A grader, and he needs to improve.
Sort the less than A graders that are costing us points and we have lots of room.
I think Thompson is our only 10 pointer.
We missed out on another A grader as he was lured to Richmond on a promise.
Lost another A grader to the mid-season draft.
PG knows what he wants it's up to Barra to give him everything he wants.
