This should be an interesting one.  It looks like East Freo are missing a couple of top liners whilst we're going along quite nicely.  You'd think Mayo has done enough to get promoted but can't see anyone else coming in.  Kentfield must be in the firing line after 2 pretty quiet outings but then they'll need to decide who'll be the back up to Zac Clarke as you wouldn't want to risk Mayo doing the rucking.

Strange start time at the WACA but will probably go anyway.  Hopefully we can knock them off this time and cement ourselves in the top five.

Mayo, Alone in which is good news. I'm not sure who will miss out from the interchange list as none are named in the ressies.  Heal probably won't play otherwise he'd be an automatic selection and not on the bench, and Hitchcock likewise but that still leaves two to drop out... probably Kentfield and maybe Faraone.  It's just a shame Hayden did his ACL as the team is shaping up very nicely but another inside mid would have been fantastic.

Looks like Kentfield also named in the colts so he will probably be an out. Interesting that Alone and Robbins back after 1 week in the reserves, probably missed their pressure last week.

BC, re the bench listed players, Giro, Golding and Walters would be certs and Heal if he's fit. Re Heal, I understand he was missing last week due to personal reasons. Borchet could pinch hit in the ruck up forward. Clarke has a huge tank and has shown he doesn't need to much time on the bench. That being said, at 33/34, he will need to be managed as the season goes on. I think we will see Either Kentfield or South become a regular player the further the season progresses. Kentfield will get drafted, so South is a better long term option.
Showers are forecast but apparently morning and early arvo so hopefully by 4.10pm it will have cleared up.

Yes, agreed Jjim. That front six is looking very dangerous with Mayo in the mix. It will be hard for any opposition to match up on with 3 talls who are all capable of kicking goals plus Alone, Robbins and Hansen who also can score but bring forward pressure.

On a different note, I saw on the WAFL website Jordy Lockyer is only 3 weeks away. That's great news as he should play a few ressies games then be good to go in the league for the back half of the season.

At this stage, hard to fit Locks in. Definitely a tough call on Stainsby. Won't be long. Let's hope we stay injury free because we have some good players missing out atm.

Sharks have been too fast and too big for us recently. Let's see tomorrow.

No change from last year. Sharks too fast, too organised. Despite having no real winning forwards. Just too  strong off half back and around the packs.
